Aura of reckoning also had the additional benefit of providing another defensive bait for people that see wings and pop walls. This is just all around sad times, really hope some of the feedback like this actually reaches whoever is responsible for ret design.

I realized this weeks ago with the changes and will probably go Arms warrior in 11.1 (I would prefer to stay ret), especially since MS is getting buffed again for some nice burst damage.

TBF, frost dk has not seen a good pvp season in like 6-7 years. I enjoyed ret this season, so hopefully they don't turn ret into the next fdk.

Thats a good question are we going to replace them with searing glare is good maybe maybe spellwarding but that talent is situational spreading the makes me laugh ultimate ret is useless asf hollowed ground is nerfed with the introduction of concecrated blade i mean whats the point of running hollowed ground since you need to be inside the consécration to get clensed and most ranged classes gonna pummel you from 30 yards away and if you hit them with blade of justice concentration spawns under them so you're still slowed in the middle of the map, not sure what we can run honestly

Ive been testing 3v3 without aura of Reckoning and luminessence and as you say nothing's lookin clear for pvp talentos besides Sanc, with searing glare being used as an obligation too and consecration cleanse being useless most of the times

The uptime in 3's on Aura of Reckoning is not nearly as high as your claiming. You need 100 crits on allies to proc it once. Almost no classes are even running crit as a stat. Maybe against certain classes that crit a lot naturally like frost mage or if it counts pet crits you might get a decent uptime.

You are wrong, it is very high. Especially because the meta consists of classes with extremely high crit frequency like BM hunters, outlaw rogues, fury warriors, feral druids and frost mages. All of these classes contribute to high uptime on aura of reckoning and theyre pretty much the only things you will see in arena right now aside from affliction warlocks which usually run with one of them.

I meant shuffle i guess where the classes are kind of random, you might be correct in organized 3's but paladins are still not very good there anyways and likely won't be unless we get buffed to S plus tier. The classes with high cc will always dominate 3's.

Every bg I play Ret is up there top 3 , I have a Ret myself, but I have to say you also have to be careful giving any class , top damage, full immunity, full emergency heal, or we will be heading back to the days of complete op classes we already have BM and again I have a hunter, but BM is broken, which leads to a really poor experience for none meta classes

Tough to say, it definitely hurts herald way more than templar but even in my templar testing my overall dam was pretty heavily affected.

@@LvladenPvP "Semi viable" is not enough. Im sorry, but when i have to play my life out in order to win vs inferior players who play better classes thats never good. Just cuz the rotation is brain dead easy we suffer one of the worst single target damage of all classes and thats super downing. I create so many kill windows with blinds, stuns combined with my other mates cc's, but the damage is often not enough even when we take out the healer for like 20 seconds... meanwhile super bad players who overlap their cc's and do them correctly just once per 10 min game and its enough for them to win. U can feel when u lose vs ppl that are not doing stuff right and dont feel like that on any of my other classes. When i lose is usually because i got outplayed, but on ret i lose even thou we played better 90 % of the game somehow. Having super good burst once per 1-2 minutes and absolutely horrible sustain dps is dogshit... i prefer just decent burst, but like 25% more sustained out of cd's. All my classes like shadow priest , balance druid, Dk, WW monk , rogue does like 0.4k more single target sustain. When i go to the single target dummy out of cd's i barely hold 1mil while all other classes are at 1.3 / 1.4 for me. Yes i know those are dummy numbers, but they represent the gap well.

It is a big nerf for herald for sure, but as a templar you won't notice anything. Sad part is templar is already the way to go in pve. Now herald will be gone from pvp and templar will be the pick. Unless they remove the anshe pvp nerf and make the spec bursty again.

Divine Hammer being put on a 1min CD, a 3HP builder, and time extended for every HP spent might be where the damage is made up. I assume this buff will be something all rets take 100%.

My theory is on huge changes that we see at times, it almost always comes down to money and share holder value. They rotate classes to increase game time per user so people will level those new characters up or grind gear for that season. Do I thin there are intentional under and overbuffs as well? Definitely, but I would imagine most huge changes like this are to try to get people to level there alts, and they can data mine this from us easily.

Nothing is ruined yet, patch hasnt happened. PTR isnt even out. Only notes. I just want them to know that aura of reckoning removal needs to be compensated somewhere. Most classes don't have their PvP damage reliant on PvP talents.

I have a fully geared SV hunt that I really enjoy because of the merciless blows playstyle. We'll see if some other build comes around that is fun.

Canceled my sub few days ago. I can't stand that pvp crap. Some classes/specs are left to kill people within few seconds ( bm hunt , outwall rogue, arcane mage) while being super easy and can survive big chunck of damage while others are eating nerf after nerfs and are left so bad.

WoW pvp has completely died in the last month. My main has been perma ban, alot of my friends too. i was banned for ''abusive language''' because of doing prot paladin SS, i asked the gm to tell me the reasons of my ban and comments, and he pulled out prot paladin comments that say '' you should kill the enemy prot paladin, focus on aoe'' etc comments and still tought it was in the range of ''could be seen as treatenning. So yea, i have about 5-10 other pvpers banned/ perma banned in the past months, and alot more who quit because nobody to play with. personnally since only my main is perma banned, i could lvl an alt and just boost it back up and farm the gear again but i dont see why id make an alt for content that isn't really fun, paladin not above B tier since expansion launch. On top of that pvp is just not valued as prestigious anymore. you link a pvp achiv in pve and people look at you like your a noob now. Clearly an awful time to pvp in WoW. Gw2 pvp is more interesting and at least a bit more balanced. everyone has a rock paper scissor. some cheaters like in wow will always pop out once in 50 + games. but you can always report them and they are quick to figure it out.

I agree with this sentiment, the problem is Rets pvp damage has been reliant on aura of reckoning since its first inception in legion.
