I like videos like this I’m still an hvac student and one thing I’m going to get better at is diagnosing and finding the actual problems so watching these types of videos is very educational to me thank you
@estephianunderwood9573 Жыл бұрын
@Charles You gonna get it! And don't overthink it and don't always think it is the biggest problem cuz sometimes when diagnosing a unit and troubleshooting you'll think it is a big huge problem when it sometimes small like a leak in the suction or discharge line, or a bad capacitor, or a blown fuse, so always have in mind that it isn't always a grand big scheme of problems cuz most times you'll get called out to a service call and it could be a small issue like that. But keep up the good work and Stay focused and always willing to learn and push your knowledge and go above and beyond; THERE'S NO LIMITATIONS!💯💯👌🏽💪🏽AND I SAY THIS CUZ I AM A CERTIFIED HVAC TECHNICIAN AND GOT MY EPA AND LOVE THIS TRADE AND WORKING WITH MY HANDS SO IT IS REWARDING HARD WORK, AND GREAT MONEY YOU CAN MAKE AND TEACHES YOU DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE AND TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR TRADE AND WORK CUZ US BLUE COLLAR WORKING MEN ARE THE BACKBONE OF SOCIETY AND KEEP THE WORLD GOING SO YOU PICKED A GOOD TRADE CAREER YOUNG MAN! MUCH MORE SUCCESS TO YOU!💪🏽👌🏽

I'm learning to estimate commercial HVAC. Was hired at a great MC with little experience but they're giving me the room to learn/grow. Watching Quality HVACR's content is helping the HVAC concepts start to form in my head. Thanks a ton & keep the videos coming!

I live on the NC coast, had humidity and moisture issues in crawlspace. Didn't spend the extra money to encapsulate, I done what was recommended by a crawlspace company. I removed all existing batt insulation and clear plastic vapor barrier. I had them put down 10mil vapor barrier, they turned it up the foundation walls and piers 18", all vapor barrier has 12" overlapped sealed joints. Then placed 2" foam blocks in all crawlspace vents and foamed in place. I installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier, what a difference! I done that 18 months ago, wish I had done it 5 years ago, a month after I purchased the house! Cost a few thousand, but well worth it.

No need for the BLUON APP! The sticker on the compressor tells you what size capacitor it needs! But this guy is not going to check that while he is there! He will DIVE INTO THAT WHEN HE COMES BACK! Why not just check it now and come back with the right capacitor when he comes back with the blower parts! WASTED TIME IS WASTED MONEY! You are on the roof with the unit, just pop the fan grill and get the needed info while you are there! "No sense in doing that today while he is there, HE SAYS!" OH YEH! That would chew into his coffee time!

Y ahí entramos las personas que si sabemos trabajar bien y honestamente. instead of wire nutting small cables or wires like thermostat wire try Telephone Wire Splice Connectors they make them in 2 3 or more and they contain a silicone grease to prevent water getting in. they just get crimped on with a pair of pliers. no wire stripping needed. they make them to splice 19 to 26 awg wire.

Be sure to point the openings up and wrap. With electric tape to keep water out.....the sun will melt all the dielectric grease out if pointed down !!!

Never install a condensate drain without two 1 inch unions with 3/4 inch bushings. One union before the trap and one on the outlet of trap, or they won't be serviced by owner ever, which is probably ok for technicians. Use the bushings to keep the inside flow the same as pipe diameter. Seen plenty of times where the fan assembly has a bad hub from insulation falling down and getting inside and throwing it out of balance causing premature damage. Always install a set of straps to hold insulation in place, don't know why the manufacturer doesn't do this for horizontal positions. It didn't look like the cabinet had any insulation left in it, probably removed over the years because of that issue. Good job!
