i think my fav arc was taiga's dad "coming back" because it show the characters in a more true light. taiga suddenly became this sweet, quiet girl, just wanting to spend time with him, ryuuji showed the insecurities of his own father leaving that he over looked the signs that showed taiga's dad to be just a scummy and absent, it was the first time i really noticed minori slip out of her stupid airhead persona, and actually get mad at ryuuji for speaking about things he had no idea about. i also felt like she started dropping the persona a bit after that arc as well. while it didnt really do anything to bring the MC's closer to their love interists (except for ryuuji and minori have a proper conversation after they made up) i feel like it really gave more insight to how the characters behave and what kind of people they truely are. and then there was kitamura, doing whatever the hell he does usually

Yo bazzy/baddy(bazdaddy combined), love the video you hit every point. But one thing I’ll say is that Taiga isn’t a tsundere. Sure she was mean to Ryuji, but that was mostly early when she had no interest in him. When she started to like him that’s when she starts to stop hitting him or calling him names. She went from hitting him for everything to talking to him comfortably like they were a married couple. The only reason she didn’t tell him was because she didn’t want to take Ryuji from Minori and thus she continued to hide it but not aggressively.

If you have ever watch romcoms back when the show was released, romcoms were almost exclusively have the ecchi tag and most were really terrible. This show was a game changer, so much so that every romcoms after it is trying to seen seriously like it. I can see why some people who watch this anime later do not like it because this anime started those tropes.

10/10 video, all plot points answered and no lingering questions (The studio is gonna force a season 2 anyway for "the fans" and not money) Something to say though: Minorin was a decent character as her quirky but it makes her better when she becomes more real to see how fake the facade is and how actually sad she is but the character I hate the most is... Kitamura. This guy has no purpose in the show other than to be a love interest for Taiga and make Sumero (his crush) a good character. If you just changed the characters, he wouldn't even be needed, and it really is a shame as ever other character has some type of weight but he holds no value at all like he is best friends with Ryuji but doesn't do much? Like he goes to the beech for no reason, then has a whole "I'm 14 and this deep" arc to then CONFESS IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE SCHOOL like how stupid is that?! And the ending with Taiga? Alright is all I can say. The Light Novel which is the source material is way better with her actually to talk to him but he tires to act asleep so she can go back home (otherwise the police are going to track them down like they commited a felony ) then, the group all go to try and find her when Ryuji returns and all of them break down with him taking more effort to accept her leaving which was nice to see since the anime kinda dump him into the situation without him having control. The ednig too was way diffrent but to not spoil it, it was more hopeful and sweet, feeling concluded fully without them just kissing and then boom end! FYI: After the anime , there is a PSP game where, let's just say Ryuji "got busy" with Taiga having triplets. I am not joking about that. Taiga is when Tsundere does right .. She is not Tsundere because she just acts the way she is She is Tsundere and abusive because she had no parents to even teach her manners ! Her parents left her with a house and bunch of money , with zero cooking skills to take of herself and pretty much neglects her to the borderline abandonment and she was still a minor ? You really think people being treated like that as a child will understand what manner is and how to form a human. Connection ? And besides she is actually a nice person at heart , she is hot tempered , has anger issues but she actually tries her best , tries to stand up for her friends , overcome her shyness and her weakness that she actually faced her feelings and confess to Ryuji rather than waiting for him to make the move ! She tries to have friends , she wants to get accepted , she wants to have a normal life and get into a relationship like any normal human beings ! But she doesn’t know how because she grew up with no parents ! It’s sad that Tsundere like Asuka and Taiga that are so well written are so rare these days , many of them just end up to be a harem troop for and be mean to the main character for no reason

Toradora is more like 6/10 to me. Realisticly its like maybe 7 but to every downsides of this anime I'll also add THAT TAIGA IF FUCKING ANNOYING XDDD She's the most generic tsundere type character and the fact that she is main character basicly doesnt help. You can make tsundere character without being fucking annoying (For example Rukia from Bleach - she pretends to be calm and collective person but when you piss her out she's like little Gremlin and the adorable one), Taiga is literally tsundere character without nothing new without some minor lore wich I really dont care about. Only character that I like in this show is Ryuji, but even him made me cringe several times (this whole show has at least 2 or 3 cringe moments per episode soo thats also a downside). Compared to other generic romance anime Toradora is decent I admit it, but theres no really reason to watch that when you have shows like Kaguya-sama Love is War, Silent Voice, Your Name or Komi-san Cant Communicate in the same type of anime. They are soo many better options than Toradora or as good as Toradora is to begin with. Also if we rate this anime compared to any other cathegories like shonen, seinen or comedy this anime blends in the sea of Diamonds like Big 3, Death Note, Great Teacher Onizuka, Cowboy Beebop, Lain, First season of Promised Neverland - Compare to these animes Toradora dont deserve rating higher than 6/10 or even 5/10. Im sorry guys
