Hello, I'm here to explain the ending. The reason why no one knows each other and everything is different at the end is because of a series of actions that I'll detail below. Pucci stopped the total reset of the universe in order to kill Emporio. In order for the reset of the universe to be complete, Pucci had to close the cycle by reaching the point in time where they were in Cape Canaveral, where the universe began to reset. Instead, Pucci stopped at the point where they were still in the prison, where Jotaro went to visit Jolyne. So the universe hasn't completely reset yet. When Emporio kills Pucci at that moment, that will mean that the cycle has never been completed, all of Pucci's actions are in vain and this creates a new universe, just as Pucci says to Emporio when he has him cornered. Pucci dying creates a new universe, a universe in which Pucci never existed (just like Jotaro, Jolyne, Anasui and Ermes didn't exist in the almost rebooted universe where Emporio defeats Pucci at the end). Pucci disappearing from the universe means that the events of Part 6 basically never happened. Even though nothing ever happened Jolyne and her friends must meet and get to know each other again because of gravity and fate (Explained in this same part). The reason why Jolyne no longer has that name in the new universe is because having already permanently defeated Dio and his plans, there is no longer a need for the Joestar lineage to co-exist with another "JoJo". And since there is no need to have a "JoJo" since the last thing left of Dio was finally defeated, Jotaro's daughter goes from being Jolyne Cujoh (Jojo) to Irene Cujoh. This doesn't mean that the entire timeline changed. The only thing that changed was the ending so to speak. Jonathan died on the ship hugging Dio's head, Joseph sent Ultimate Kars flying into space, Jotaro killed Dio in Egypt, Josuke freed Reimi's soul and Giorno defeated Diavolo with his Requiem. But Pucci never existed and therefore the events of Stone Ocean never happened. That's exactly how you can see it in the Roundabout ending at the end. In the ending you see all of Jojos' parts, and they're all exactly the same except part 6 which only shows when they all meet at that gas station. I hope it's understood, I'm not very good at explaining and English is not my first language, sorry.

Dio's vampire abilities were weakened because of Jonathan rejecting him. Dio's Time Stop was stronger because he was a vampire, even if weakened. The more Joestsr blood Dio consumed, the more his body stopped rejecting him, so he could benefit from his Vampire abilities helping his Time Stop.

Jolyne(irene) is still a joestar its just with pucci gone in the new world she is not holding the joestar will anymore so the jo- thing is not named after her anymore. Everything that changed is all because of pucci being gone anything before part 6 is not affected or changed. Also wanna clarify that made in heaven ability makes everything besides other people accelerated while pucci is doing things in real time but it is accelerated to others so its like he took alot of time to kill them all before the end of universe. The Za warudo also isn't as long as Dio as Jotaro being a human makes him exhausted from spamming those time stops wherein Dio can easily recover with by getting blood, Dio also obtained that extended time stop from absorbing Joseph's blood because joestar is considered to be special making him more stronger during that time and extending his time stop limit. The only thing that doesn't make sense in the show would be pucci being able to move his eye in the time stop before obtaining the power of Made In Heaven.

the simple explanation for the ending is... Pucci reset the universe. He explained that if anyone is died during the "Universe restart process" they will disappear forever from existence. He plan to erase Jotaro, Jolyne, and Emporio this way, thus he stopped the restart process during the Prison time, so he can erase them all in one go, but unfortunately for him, it was him that was killed and erased from existence. Now that universe is reset but without Pucci ever existing, everyone is living different life. -Jotaro still alive and is in good relationship with his family because Pucci never terrorized him and his family -Jolyne never get arrested and live a normal life. As for why her name is now Irene instead of Jolyne, it's because the universe is remade and they no longer the same person, and in a way just an Araki symbolism, that now she is no longer a Jojo, thus the cycle is now broken. -Anasui (Anastasia)/Anakiss met Jolyne/Irene and they became couple, so Anasui never met his cheating GF from former timeline. As for name change, it's to follow up with Jolyne's name change to show Emporio and reader/watcher that everyone here is different person -Ermes also no longer a convict but was confirmed to have different name as well by Araki -Without Pucci around, Weather is a normal guy traveling the land
