Believe it or not when blue sky was making this movie they made every single creature scientifically accurate as was thought at the time. All except for scrat, he was imaginary until an actual saber toothed squirrel was found after the movie released

This one was hilarious as well 😂! Julian is a new character voiced by Adam Devine. The other guy mammoth from the 4th movie, his name was Ethan and voiced by Drake, then the hedge hog from the same movie, Louis (Played by Josh Gad aka Olaf), is the one that had a crush on Peaches. Buck is my favorite as well, Simon Pegg did a great job acting out his character! Yes that is Jennifer Lopez voicing Shira, and the other weasel explaining the science about the astroids is Neil deGrasse Tyson. I resonate a 100% with Diego 😂, sarcasm and smart aleck is my 2nd language. 2016? It feels like it came out not that long ago, dang I was 19 🥲

I think the last Ice Age I watched and paid attention to was The Meltdown. I know I've seen Dawn of the Dinosaurs, but for whatever reason it didn't stick. Meanwhile, the "Food, Glorious Food" song from 2 made it into my sing-it-when-I'm-starving memory bank. I think I love the first one the best for the emotional heart of it. Found family isn't always a trope that I enjoy, but it worked for Ice Age. I remember seeing the first in 2nd grade and the last came out when I was 22. That's a strong legacy... and a little bit of Blue Sky milking their most popular idea for all that it had.

When you were talking about what movies have like different time gaps or years when this came out, when Toy Story 2 came out even though I wasn’t born in the 90s when it came out, but when i saw the second Toy Story movie i think i was like what 5 or 4 when i saw that movie, and now Toy Story 4 came out 2019 and i was probably like what 21 when i saw that movie i could be wrong on that, but it’s crazy to me that movies come out over like years ago and you were probably a kid fast forward now you’re an adult depending on the age but you know, it’s very fascinating to me on that part. And guess what GOOD NEWS there just I KNOW announced Ice Age 6 isn’t that Insaning and the last movie was like what you said in 2016 so that is also CRAZY.

There actually is a sixth movie called The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. but it was done without Blue Sky because the studio shut down, and they recasted the voice actors and the animation quality looks like a straight to DVD movie. Although it did have a pretty good ending I'll give it that.
