And her thinking that all apologies need to be mutual, like what?!? Sure most situations aren’t totally black and white, but if you approach giving an apology with “they better give me one back”, that immediately invalids your apology because it shows you’re not apologizing because you’re sorry, you’re apologizing to get something. The more I hear about her the more I believe she believes the words “I’m sorry” are an instant get out of jail free card no matter how little she actually means it or her actions in the future that contradict said apology.

@Name-dl3uq
@Name-dl3uq 3 жыл бұрын
@@lalathekido in that particular situation, Gabbie was not out of line. The family stated multiple times in texts that Gabbie was the one who needed to get an apology from the tea channels, not them. (Tea channels still did not apologize to Gabbie for that- and I hate her, but still, that situation was not her fault, but those tea channels). The family actually even told Angelika that they do not want their texts to be used in the video, so instead of showing them on screen, Angelika just read them lmao, still going against the family's wishes. After Angelika contacted them, the family actually reached out to Gabbie, and mentioned that Angelika was acting weird. The family also said that any video made on their child by Gabbie will and had been approved by the family. Edit: the first sentence is my opinion. You are more than welcome to try and change it. Just do not make it personal, and throw around accusations because it is useless and not productive.

I remember when I was 16, I pissed off a friend (A) by telling another friend (B) a secret that she had told me months before to take to my grave. She stomped over to my house, yelled at me, and told me never to speak to her again. I didn’t tell the secret maliciously, exactly - the Friend B and Friend A were actually family, I thought Friend B already knew - and I genuinely felt terrible and apologized profusely. I respected her wishes and kept my distance. It’s been just over ten years since that happened, I still haven’t seen her to this day. I don’t think I’m a terrible person, but Friend A has the right to be pissed, it was a shitty thing I did. I think of that every time I see one of these “dramas” on the Internet. Like, girl, just admit that you did a shitty thing and move on. Sometimes you do shitty stuff that hurts people. It’s a part of life. Learn from it and move on.

The way Gabbie tweaks little things like timelines or “i didn’t start this” but really did is exactly the sort of sneaky shit narcissistic abusers do as easily as breathing. ALSO I think sti testing and disclosure should be standard practice for everyone in every partnership, but it isn’t always practical. What Gabbie COULD have done differently is go to Trish and say “this person told me you have herpes, and I want you to know that someone is telling your business because I would want someone to tell me if someone was spreading rumors. That said, the guy you’re dating is my friend and now I’m concerned so you don’t have to tell me ANYTHING private, just please both of you get tested together and have that conversation. Herpes doesn’t make you unlovable and it’s fine, you can take antiviral meds to not spread it and 1 in 4 people have it so it’s not a big deal. If you need support in talking to him about it I’ll have your back, I just want both of you to be safe and informed because I would also want my friends to do that for me.” Gabbie instead went right to the man in the situation to talk about how dirty another woman was, like the Pick Me she is.

The minute Gabbie said “this whole situation ruined my birthday” about Bianca’s death showed me that she didn’t care about the Devens’ family. I think if this was a video where Gabbie was opening a discussion on how to protect the privacy of victims who are not involved in the “drama.” Like, omitting Bianca’s name from videos to protect their family, omitting names of SA victims, or omitting the usernames and pictures of minors or something like that: I could absolutely get behind that. But no: this video was a blatant attempt to exploit the family to guilt trip drama channels. For being “totally cool” and “in a really good place right now,” she truly seems just miserable.

I think both. When people lie compulsively, they rewrite reality in their own minds to suit the narrative. The bruises she showed as "proof" were proven to exist before the altercation. Plus there are multiple witnesses that stae that Ricegum did not hit her or lay a hand on her. The only thing Ricegum did was break her phone, it wasn't the abusive, traumatic story Gabbie made it out to be. It wasn't nearly as bad.

I don't think Gabbie is the kind of person who could ever actually benefit from therapy. A.) Because she'll never admit she has problems that need fixing B.) I'm almost positive she uses big words and advice she learned in therapy to use against other people rather than use it to better herself. And most of all C.) She's a textbook sympathy seeker. Whenever someone feels bad for her, she feeds off it. And thinks the more she can make herself look like a wounded puppy, the more sympathy and validation she can get. She causes drama with people, they naturally get pissed and call her out for it, then she plays the victim card so she can go tell her fans how horribly she was treated. She seeks sympathy everywhere she goes and she doesn't care about any collateral damage she causes along the way. She's one of the most bitter, spiteful, most fucking selfish human beings I've ever seen. She's beyond help because she doesn't want it- what she wants is for people to only tell her what she wants to hear, and that's it
@taylors445

She literally did that lol. In her video about Jessi, she made this statement that because she’s been in therapy for a year she’s realized she seeks out toxic and abusive people in order to “fix them”. I’m sure that poor therapist is just told complete lies and doesn’t know how their client keeps attracting these people into their lives. I can’t imagine what story she must spin to whatever mental health professional she sees. She even went on a podcast about mental health and admitted to lying to her therapist in order to avoid being diagnosed with something she fears she has. Her mother was diagnosed with BPD and she says she’s so afraid she would be diagnosed with the same thing, that she lies about anything that might associate her with that diagnosis. It’s honestly just hurting her more than anyone. If she were honest and told them how she really felt she could learn tools in order to help her cope and find better ways of expressing herself. She might not even have that diagnosis. However if she keeps lying she’ll never change and she’ll never get over her fears of becoming like her mother.
