With regards to the 5th movie: I honestly prefer not the cliché of the bullied becomes the bully. It's overdone and not executed correctly at all most of the time. Why can't someone who's not bullied become evil? Other ideas instead, perhaps he could have been spoiled or just very lucky his entire life. Now he's suddenly unlucky and perhaps starts blaming it on everyone else, thinking everyone is working against him.

The bts lore of the different endings to the original Paranormal Activity that they were allegedly going to use before going with boo creepypasta demon face jumpscare just depresses me now as an adult. Katie standing there creepily for like three whole days or whatever before suddenly quietly walking out of the house with no fanfare would've been so much more 😗🤌 ooky spooky

I was young enough, and watched the original in the right setting, at night, not at my house, that the scene where it showed the girl chewing her arms got me. Don't remember much of the sequels. Remember not enjoying them.

I really enjoyed the first one, but thought the other endings where better than the one Blum gave us. Never watched another because that river had run dry. After watching this I feel I made one of the few right decisions I have made in my life.

I've watched the original a few times because I always appreciate the "less is more" approach. I think 1-3 is tolerable for the average enthusiast. Anything beyond that is garbage. I appreciate you spoiling us with an hour of horror culture.

i went to cinema to watch the first one and i believed that it was real found footage that had been put together as a movie and i felt the real shocks and fear and when i got home i had to sleep with light on and i was in a right state lol how i see it is that i had the real fear and feel for the movie and got 100% out of it and thats how horror is supposed to be experienced but you cant tell yourself its real,you have to really believe it

The first Paranormal movie was pretty decent. I feel like it's one of the best found footage movies out there, but that's not saying much. The second one was watchable, not good but not the worst. All the others were trash.

Thank you for this marathon ! I never checked this franchise so it was pretty fun to learn about it. But actuaaaaaally I do remember, a long time ago, watching 20 minutes of the japanese spin-off ("Paranormal Activity 2 Tokyo Night") and it was B-O-R-I-N-G. Check it out if you have trouble sleeping, it's more effective than sleeping pills.

Thank you! God I hated these films. Blair which worked as many were told it was REAL found footage. Yes, gullible. But beyond that trick, it’s not really a great film. Neither are the other found footage crap. Rec still was the best.
