HomeGymCon 2023 was an amazing time! I loved seeing and trying out new equipment. But more than that, I loved meeting and chatting with so many people that've I interacted with only online. Everyone was incredibly nice and even more interesting in person. I'm already making plans for next year! P.S. I love the hammer I won! I'm already planning how I can incorporate it into my training after my upcoming powerlifting competition!

I agree! For me, trying out equipment took a back seat to just meeting everyone and having great conversations. I’m glad I had the chance to finally meet you. I am a little jealous that you got that hammer but I know it went to a good home!

I'll have to install a lever deadlift outside! I could get some old rims and tires or even just some old brake disk to use as weights, that way i won't care to let em outside. Thanks for the idea !

I had no idea but I will be definately be going next year...and those pinch grips....Duuuuuuude. Sidebar: Rims can grow to drums anywhere there's moisture. It's not practical to carry a 12 pound sledge in most vehicles but if you'll carry a 3 / 4 pound sledge and a 15" length of 2 x 6 you can usually tap it off pretty easily. Always use a piece of wood if available but you could hit a steel rim with the sledge in an emergency. You definitely want something, preferably wood, between the hammer and an alloy wheel. They're nice looking but break easily and are expensive to replace. Ask my younger self how I know that...😖😊😅

I loved it! A ton of functionality packed into a relatively small package. The only thing to keep in mind is the height needed. It wouldn’t work in my basement.
