Jokes aside, this is pretty informative. I'm planning to go to Japan later this year and I'm seriously looking at using internet cafes in various Japanese cities to do a bit of remote work. Seems like most are 24 hours which is good because I plan to get my work done in the really early morning to take better advantage of the day when tourist attractions are actually open (plus that it would still be afternoon business hours back in the US). A lot of the work I do is internet-based and I'm planning on leaving my laptop home (trying to pack as light as possible here!), and the specs of those cafe computers seem like enough for most of what I plan to do. Lastly, I would bring some disinfectant wipes and do a quick wipe down before touching anything inside a booth lol.
