Yeah nah being a vet is so hard. On a purely logistics stand point you gotta know how to deal with so many different species not just humans and there's also the emotional factors of not being able to actually communicate with your patients. You're trying to help them but they don't understand that. Medical jobs in general are difficult and vet jobs come with their own traumas. I love animals and I don't think I could cope with being a vet so bless those that can.

I think my last vet got really heartbreaken when years ago he told us we had to do the injection on our cat and I broke down crying (along with my stepfather, he really loved our cat). Our cat was really really ill and was in so much pain there was no other choice. I imagine vets feel bad as well when they see an animal so ill and in so much suffering.

That's what I think! I don't watch horror movies often (I usually dont do well with the horror genre) but when i do, it's so much more effective when the characters are actively using their heads to try and find a way of escaping without success. If the characters are dumb for plot convenience, it's almost like they deserve what's coming because you know they went with the worst option.
@kittengurl220

Agreed! Hush, who was even directed by the same dude who did Oculus, got me feeling the same. Definitely a lot scarier because in horror movies where they are stupid it's not like they make one dumb decision once in a while, it's a SERIES of nonsensical choices. So it's hard to put yourself in the character's shoes because if it was a regular person with the least common sense in the movie it wouldn't even hit the 30 minute mark.

@@CookieManatee It mostly depends on the kind of movie watcher you are. I loove dialogue from other people while I'm watching a movie (one that I'm not that invested in) and an almost entirely black audience is going to be full of hilarious dialogue because it's like an unspoken rule that we're all here for that same noise 😂 This paired with a thriller where we know people are going to be making dumb, "talk to the screen" worthy decisions, is double the fun. If you ever want to experience it, I'd recommend keeping an eye out for movies with a black cast/main characters (but nothing too serious like Us or Black Panther was) and show up the day it comes out
