As someone who grew up with a type 1 diabetic mother with extreme insulin sensitivity, the thought of someone trying to induce that to k!ll someone is MIND-BOGGLING. I can’t even count the number of times my mom woke up with blood glucose levels below 20, or accidentally put herself and others (including me!) in incredibly dangerous situations as a result of her health issues. Low blood glucose is so fkn scary and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Not blaming Anita’s children but if your mom is getting older and she’s constantly having trouble with tenants that she’s finding on Craigslist, wouldn’t you as a child try to intervene? It’s clear that she’s reaching an age where she’s not able to make good decisions on her own. I know not everyone has good relationships with their parents but I’m not letting my mom stay in the house with a man she’s getting an active restraining order against. Not saying it’s their fault but I feel like to some degree, this could’ve been prevented from going so far.
