I live in rochester she is my DA and i travel the same roads she was on. It's infuriating that we have this double standard with the chief fully backing her. The silver lining is all of this attention isnt allowing it to be swept away. RPD had a high speed pursuit that ended in my front yard when 2 teens wouldnt stop. They pepper sprayed a 9 year old girl for her bad attitude. The previous mayor's home was raided by the fbi and multiple keys of cocaine and weapons were seized. She pinned it on her husband and has been enjoying her freedom. It's corrupt and they all watch each others backs

Y'all are supposed to be the "land of the free, home of the brave" and all that. Why isn't the town hall or wherever she works on fire yet? In Slovenia, some years ago, a mayor set up a couple of speed cameras with some shady profit-sharing deal with the company that provided them, and the people in his city not only almost burned down the place, the protests spread through the country until the government fell. And we have 1500 years of history of being ruled by others. What the hell, America?

Even the governor, Cathy Hochal, (Who I cannot stand), said in her statement Sunday, that Doorley's behavior was "in contravention of her responsibility as a District Attorney and undermined her ability to hold others accountable for violating the law." Cops are never supposed to let suspects be in any position where the cop can’t see their hands. Luckily it never happened, but there were so many moments where the DA could have hypothetically grabbed a gun and used it. All it takes is one nanosecond for someone to lose their life. Secondly this lady kept committing more and more crimes right in his face and not respecting him. The cop needed to take control of the situation. He’s the one enforcing the law not her. All this does is set an example that cops over there are weak and can be walked all over

I can't speak for Monroe county officers, it looks like a nice area so they are probably very cordial, but in my large inner city area, her actions would have resulted in severe police violence. Especially for a random nobody, especially for a person of color. This type of behaviour and the lack of consquences makes me feel so hopeless about who we are as a society.

This is a bad look for all her work and undermines her career she has abused her power as the DA and its been caught on camera. It makes police look spineless it makes district attorneys look corrupt and abusive of their power. Had she just followed orders knowing very well that police have body cameras and had this issue sorted quietly or even had a public arrest just to show people no one is above the law even if no real sentence was issued she would have come up looking great but now seriously going forward shes basically exposed herself and other DAs of abusing their power and being above the law. Why do people always pretend as if they want people who commit crimes to be given leeway? Most middle class bourgeoise people who have something to lose despise criminals for no other reason than they view such people as a threat to their position within the status quo and whatever worldly possessions they have accumulated. I’m not going to even speak on crimes against persons because most people have no understanding when some is ACCUSED of murder, robbery, assault. Sex crimes or even worse. There is no presumption of innocence is such cases.

She’s been asked to resign as if 24 hours ago. They questioned her ability to fill her role and stated an issue of trust. Looks like this is going the way it should be for her. **Update** they asked, she has refused to leave.

And then that officer will have to watch his back. She will most likely retaliate.

Only and I emphasize only because it went viral. If it hadn't went viral this whole thing would've been swept under the rug

From NY News 10: "Onondaga County DA William Fitzpatrick said in a statement that he initially agreed to conduct the investigation but, soon after, the governor announced that she is referring the investigation to the Prosecutorial Conduct Commission. Fitzpatrick said that both he and Doorley agreed that the commission would be a more proper way to investigate her actions" SHE got a say in which entity would investigate. Sounds real impartial.
