I was with a group of friends when a woman, who had earlier that night declared her dislike for men and identified as a lesbian, pushed me against a wall and attempted to kiss me while groping me. However, the hypocrisy of the whole thing is what bothers me. Here was this person with her ‘Me Too’ moment when she was part of the problem she claimed to be a victim of, not to mention the number of men’s lives ruined over accusations that were petty compared to what happened to me. Like any moral cause that goes viral on the internet, the Me Too movement started as a good thing, with people like Harvey Weinstein and Epstein finally being forced to pay the piper. I've been working as a certified nursing assistant since I was 18. I'm 50 now and male patients will still inappropriately touch me. I will get inappropriate comments from either them or male family members trying to get fresh with me. Imagine this for over 30 years! As an actual survivor, the way she framed this is extremely insulting and uncoupled from reality. Her memories are way too clear and precise for how drunk she's trying to say she was. It's very very frustrating to have someone like this poisoning public trust in survivors' stories. I was actually blackout drunk when it happened, to the point that I'm not sure if I was drugged. My memory falls off at one point in the night. It's crazy that she can retell this point for point like narrative fiction, because traumatic memory + alcohol doesn't work that way. Gross and sad that she'd do this

My mom also got SA when she was ten, however my village got to the grapist before the police got to him and tortured him before setting him on fire.
