AI difficulty changes the way troops fight. They will block more with their shields and weapons and be more accurate with their attacks. You cannot see a difference because it applies to your troops as well and you have really good gear so you can take a lot of damage. In early game it's more visible when Looters start blocking your blows and nobles whip your broke ass in tournaments.

I find it funny that the executing of enemy lords would have some downside at it but it literally doesn't, your at war and you really don't care about relationships with other lords as they serve to no benefit but permanently removing an annoying clan/lord is all win

TIP: you can increase your influence with your nobles in your clan by going into the kingdom tab and pressing the support button spending 50 influence and gaining 1-2 relation with them so when you have more than enough influence to gather army's use the rest to improve your relations with your clans so they dont leave your kingdom.

or just kill all clans. I only have 1 other clan in my kingdom and I crush any army I can find. Running around with 200 elite troops + trash of my clanmembers makes it so I only lose a few men every battle and get a shitton of Exp. Ive won a lot of battles 300 vs 800 while only sustaining like 10-15 deaths in my own party.

On battlefield tactics, I place my archers to the front with the infantry on shield wall just behind, you time your infantry charge to the last moment, this way you have the point blank range effect of your archers unblocked by your infantry. I normally pull my archers back to prevent them becoming tangled in the infantry melee. You can kill 30% to 40% more of the onrushing infantry and there is a chance that they will be stopped dead right in front of your archers, you cant do this if your infantry are blocking your archers. Also works to have the archers on withdraw but to be a honest a quick move order is just as effective.

I have a tip to siege: build balista and, as soon it is completed, click on it and put on reserve. When the 4th is completed, place all 4 and wait until they dont have walls anymore

Problem with this part of the quest is you pretty much have to kill all enemy nobles. The relationship and diplomacy features need to be much more in depth. For example, having the option to actually have alliances, not just peace or war. Having a positive relation with someone means almost nothing as the game is now. Also, what is the thinking process of an enemy army besieging one of my cities in the heart of my kingdom and ignoring places near their own border?

Ok so the Khuzait in my play through refused to die, the very LAST person stayed in a city of my vassal and refused to leave. Had to wait for her to declare war and get sent to prison in said city, so I kicked out the vassal who owned the city from my clan so the city can become mine and I was able to execute her. Then the Khuzait faction made some rando their leader who was not listed anywhere in their kingdom before and the last time they were spotted was in some town 668 days ago..... Nice play Bennerlord, nice play......

Same thing happened to me, the Southern Empire joined the Northern Empire. What fief's were left I then captured as per the quest requirements. I got 100 of the 100 required but it wont complete the quest. I wonder if you'll experience the same issue when you get that far.

Switch out for a spear with the "couched lance" tag. That lets you use the X key to set the lance for a charge. It will let you 1-shot anything.

the siege weapon CAN NOT avoid damage by move to reserve once the enemy fire their siege weapon. You will only extend your siege weapon cool down time by doing that

There's a mod out there that ups the damage of the horses trample to more 'realistically' create the tanks that Cav really were. Evidently, Merchants are an epic raid boss with that mod. =)

hehe, that siege of Phoros was a disaster. Try a combination of 4-5 catapults instead & let them destroy the walls completely. Yeah, it takes some time, but they are weakened so much if you do.

Idk what happens when you have your own kingdom, but if you join an existing one, murdering will wreck your relations with the nobles and king. My king has me listed as an enemy, which seems broken to me. Like, I only murdered imperials (granted, most of them, but still) while we were at war, which in my honest opinion, the god damned Viking king should like me for it. Oh well, I’ll probably end up murdering him too when I’m done with all the other kingdoms ^^

The latest patch makes it kinda harder to start a kingdom on your own. I used to hold my kingdom steadily and able to fight of enemy kingdom on my own. But now I got gang up, the AI seems to be more aggressive especially if you don’t have other clans to help build up the strength. So my advice is to build up your power in some kingdom by being a vassal first. When you have enough strongholds and parties wait for the right time and leave the kingdom with your fiefs.

I had an issue where I could no longer propose peace after I owned 2/3 of the settlements of imperial culture. Then Vlandia and he Khuzaits both declared war on me and I have no idea what to do. Also the Khuzaits now have over 80000 men so I have no idea what to do. Is there any way that I can recover the ability to propose peace?

Hi, your tip about moving siege equipment to reserve to dodge damage is not correct. Any shots fired will land, even if you put your trebuchet in reserve while the shot is mid-air. It's still helpful to reserve 4 and deploy them simultaneously, but each piece of equipment will take one volley of fire. You can test this easily by deploying a trebuchet, watching the enemy shots fire, and reserving it before they land. When you redeploy it the health will have decreased.

If you go into Steam and right click on the game and go into properties you can see what patch you are currently running and just play the game at the last patch your save was on i believe however of course you wont have new content. ESO Public Service Announcement: When reading "Causalties inflicted", that number is actually the amount you have dead due to the enemy. i.e., 500 casualties inflicted under your color means the enemy has killed 500 of your troops! I tested this with a save and after winning a battle as the casualties inflicted always skewed towards the enemy when I was massacring them.
