I remember I started my first job and saw people in their 40’s & 50’s coming to work where they just waited for their watch to hit 5PM. Then I noticed a smile on their face. The zombies turned into human beings. That was the moment I realized what my biggest fear in life is. To accept your life as it is and not working towards something which brings you fulfillment. I like data analytics, but my ultimate goal is to help others. Slowly, but steady create valuable content and sharing ideas which could benefit others.

When I started my tech job, I also saw the 9 to 5 people, and quickly decided, NOT to go into this direction. Instead, I decided to do that just long enough, until I had enough critical knowlodge and business contacts to start my own business. This got me to 120 hour weeks as self-employed, which made me starting to let other people to work for me, which made me puzzled about their laziness and 9-to-5 menthality, and their lack of understanding technology. The whole process got me nearly divorced, and made me accumulate millions in wealth. So, this is what you can expect, when you are a tech guy and tired of the 9-to-5 thing. Just to let you know.

I feel like having a normal job is very important to at least have a stable monthly income. And during your spare time, you work on your own business and products and when you're sure that you can live from that, then you can decide to step away from the 9-5 job.
@hasana.30782 жыл бұрын
That is if you have enough spare time and still energy when finishing work. Often that’s not the case so you are in a spiral because you can’t really do much else apart from work, especially nothing too involving like your own business if stuck in a hard working environment..
@michielarkema2 жыл бұрын
@@hasana.3078 I disagree, if you would write down the habits you perform on a daily base, 99% of the time, there are many things that you can cut out, like watching television, gaming and partying every single weekend. People often use "time" as their excuse to not improve there life style and success, while if you would throw the PlayStation and television out of the window, you see there's plenty of time.
@hasana.30782 жыл бұрын
@@michielarkema watching tv or KZbin after a long working day is just like the creator showed in the video a method to relax. Because after all you need some time to come down from the job and just relax. It seems to me you don’t really know what a really exhausting job can be like. You might want to cut down from that relax time to go after your business or similar but you won’t keep going with that for long since you will feel exhausted as you also need that lazy time after work to rest.. So one factor is time but it’s not everything, the real issue is a lack of energy after a hard working day to then do something productive again..
@michielarkema2 жыл бұрын
@@hasana.3078 I understand but the problem is that the majority of the people rather spend their time binge watching Netflix and playing games, instead of increasing their knowledge by learning and developing new skills. Don't get me wrong, you need to have rest time to let your brain heal, but people these days take the concept of "resting" to far.
@hasana.30782 жыл бұрын
@@michielarkema I understand but that’s not true for everyone though including me. The job is just that exhausting that it is hard to do anything productive afterwards. And I meant you can get stuck easily in that grind without really having the chance to pursue another goal in parallel. Let me put it this way, there are these super lazy people but if you are one of them you are anyways unlikely to land a good tech job which might bring you in the situation I am mentioning in the first place..
