The certificate from the actual analytic or cloud platform only matters if you di consultancy work and that’s how they know you know your stuff cause the testing for it is regulated and without having some what good knowledge you wont pass the exam anyway. And also companies can charge their clients higher fee for your certificate. Now if they pay you higher fee that’s totally depends on ur company and ur negotiating skills.

Don’t get mad at this video when you start it. Sure it is clickbait but it’s a good video overall. I’m on my way to “being hated on” as you put it, and I can’t wait to see my results. Just hard work at the moment

Thanks for this video, Stefanovic, appreciate you, man. I do apologize in case my questions seem very rookie and redundant. For someone that's trying to figure out their life and career with no prior tech or Data Analysis experience, and very recently completed the Google Data Analytics Professional Certification (offered through Coursera), how should they be planning to gain some confidence/experience to become a Data Analyst? Not sure what kinds of DA jobs would be available to someone with a basic certification. I can't speak for everyone, but after completing the Google certification, it doesn't seem like I know a whole lot. Feels like I have basic exposure to everything involved in Data Analytics and that's it. I suppose another run through of the material (minus the fluffy stuff at the start) and self-teaching Excel, SQL, Tableau, and R would be the best approach. Would that be a correct assessment? Thanks!

I've spent 4 years "studying" front-end development whilst working full time jobs in Admin (using BI and Excel A LOT). I'm really starting to wonder if maybe going into Data Analytics would be more suited to me. I don't really like building visually pretty sites.. I rather write the functionality to make that site work.

I’ve been traveling for 15 years. There is some pain on structure and productivity, but the bigger issue is stability in location and who you spend your time with. Solved by getting multiple residencies/passports in favorable tax and living/lifestyle environments… that’s me staying in one place (generally) and it feels weird but it’s better for me now.

Dataquest is much better than datacamp. Datacamp is just like fill in the blank. Too easy

So you are saying buy datacamp instead of coursera, nice marketing, KZbin is getting full of this kind affiliate marketing just for pennies

I've been recommending datacamp for the last 4 years. They have never paid me a single penny until last month, when we started working together. Getting paid to promote things I would promote anyway is a bad thing?

@Stefanovic928 күн бұрын
Hey Melvin. Succes man!

How to practice,l mean if we learn excel how can we make personal projects and how can we check we correctly apply the analysis or visualization techniques.Whats the best way to learn quickly?
@Stefanovic928 күн бұрын
There are projects you can do on Datacamp.. But you can also think of projects for yourself, for example: make a personal finance dashboard/report (how much money is coming in every month? How much are you spending? On what are you spending? How much is left for investing/saving?)
@pakeezarashid39038 күн бұрын
@Stefanovic92 Thanks for your reply and please let me know how can I evaluate after making project and know my mistakes and improve it?
