Meeting farm animals really is a wonderful thing to do, I used to live rurally and even though we just had standard houses with no land or farm animals both times, it was really lovely to be surrounded by other people's animals. One neighbour had chickens that escaped to our yard once, across the road there were lambs and sheep, dotted around were plenty of cows and horses, I used to go for walks just to go see them even though they weren't mine. Regardless of anything else happening in my life at that time, I'll always have fond memories of even just watching the animals from the windows. At one point my mum even saw a sheep give birth. If I ever came into a substantial sum of money I'd definitely love to go back to living rurally, if I could afford to care for them properly I'd even have a couple rescued farm animals myself, it's always been a dream. Definitely would recommend going to a place like this if you get the chance, it's so good for you.

I absolutely LOVE donkeys. I've grown up in a rural area with farm animals and the donkeys have always been my favorites. At one point when I was like eight I think, I went outside to visit the animals and I got my hair stuck on our barbwire fence (I have hellishly long hair for reference) and one of our donkeys tried to very tentatively free me by pawing at my hair (with one of his front hooves). He ended up cutting the back of my neck a bit but he was just worried about me and wanted to help. They're really smart animals and they're such cuties. Honestly, and it made me so happy seeing Ethan and Mika enjoying them as much as I do! :]

As a person who has spent time around a lot of farm animals, I cannot overstate how friend-shaped pigs actually are. Goats and sheep and cows are all classics and I love them but hanging out with a nice pig is unmatched.

Fun video! I’ve lived on a farm and work on a vegetable/ flower farm right now! I think it would be cool to see yall visit a local vegetable farm too of you were up for it. Its not the same as an animal farm but it kinda helps you learn to recognize and appreciate plants more (also you sometimes get free produce if theres totally edible veggies that just have a few cosmetic issues)

I grew up and currently live in a small farming community and have found myself working around animals, specifically horses. I find taking care of animals like this quite calming. Some days I’d show up to the barn after an anxiety inducing day and after starting with my schedule I’d feel instantly better. No matter how many messes I have to clean, pick rocks and sometimes ice out of hooves and brush mud off these animal, I have always found it pleasant. Something about animals makes things way better.
