Would anyone else prefer the ads to be located at the beginning of the video? I often listen to these videos to fall asleep and the ads can create quite the jump scare. Does anyone else also do this?

It sucks when you’re just settled into a cozy position and then an ad longer than the entire video comes on. Some of them are like 60 minutes if you don’t hit the skip button. No ad should be longer than 60 seconds.

Skip to the end of the vid (sometimes you have to play the last few seconds) and then go back and start the vid, all ads will be gone😊 works on all KZbin vids

I agree completely. There is another similar KZbinr that reads stories very similarly, but actually does this and openly states at the beginning of his videos that he intentionally stacks the few ads in his videos within the first couple of minutes so that the rest of the video is left intrusion-free. I'll have to go back through my subs to find which channel it is, but I commend them for knowing their audience and adjusting things accordingly out of respect...makes me respect them ironically. If I find the channel name I'll edit this and add it in later

I live in Santa Cruz and was across from the police station when the shots went off. I asked my dad if those were gun shots and right when I did, the gate opened and about thirty cop cars went flying out of their lot. The sky was covered with both news and police helicopters and it was just a sad and crazy day.

Not a big fan of the last story. I love when there's more to stories then the just the same old "blah" cookie cutter set up that most have and when it helps by adding to the story, its always a bonus. I even liked the beginning of the story but then by the conclusion, I felt like it just seemed like that style was choosen just strictly in an attempt to come across as deeply occulted and not to benefit the story.

I was in a relationship for 6 months that was abusive ... He would take my keys my car my wallet.. He slit my face with a box cuter because it took me 30 mins longer to get off work he would beat me every day. He beat me after I tried killing myself.. He threatened my family .. Till one day I could not take it anymore and ended up shooting him .. I lost my CNA CMA license I lost everything just for trying to defend my life and my mother's life.. Word of advice if he hits you once run and don't look back

I love listening to these stories and I'm spoiled by Joels narration skills, finding it difficult to listen to other similar channels. Anyway, of all the hundreds of stories I've listened to, stories #5 and #6 here have to be two of the creepiest and scariest I've listened to. (It always amazes me when there is so much paranormal activity going on and someone still says, "I wasn't sure exactly what was happening." YOUR PLACE IS F**KING HAUNTED)!! To the girl in story 5, you need be talking to your manager/supervisor asap because that creepy chick is fixated and stalking you. Serious potential for trouble there so get someone else involved asap. Lastly, the haunted apartment in #6, the way the author described the activity taking place, I mean that scared the crap outa me! How you could continue living there for awhile longer is beyond me...scary af. Thanks for the great stories tonight Joel!

I get the one story cuz practically all of my exes were "c"... I too was fortunate enough to find a good man too to help me get through it afterwards, and yeah, it definitely helps but, that shouldn't be a requirement.. like women shouldn't have to rely on a man to fix themselves, they should just realize, that they are a beautiful, strong, goddess... I think the biggest confusing aspect of the final piece was that it differed wildly from the expected format of either a person telling a story or a really detailed, sometimes dramatized news article and I didn’t know what I was listening to. WE LOVE YOUR STORIES!!!! Personally for me theres no need for collaborations especially with voices that raise my anxiety when I listen to yours to be able to sleep.. :(
