i5-3570K is on average faster than i5-6400 cuz most of i5-3570K in the userbenchmark database are overclocked and its average performance of the benched procesors so if you have your i5-3570K overclocked to reach bench average on userbenchmark then you can test it to compare

Yeah this might be the case. If so then I'm 100% part of the problem. When I submitted my results for UserBench I had mine at 4.5 GHz or something, it was ~10% faster than my friend's 6400. He was also using cheapo DDR4 2133 JEDEC RAM while I was running DDR3 2133 OC RAM.

Userbenchmark has a separate section where it compares the overclocked scores. In that section it says that overclocked 3570K is 17% faster than overclocked 6400 (Idk how ppl overclock them) But in stock form, according to them 3570K should be faster by 12% in single core, multi core, etc.

@@CheapBastard whoa, TIL there's a separate section for OCed chips. I just assumed they were aggregated. (Edit) You can overclock non-K chips with BCLK OC from certain motherboards. Highest i5 6400 clocks I've seen irl is 4.4ish GHz watercooled.

The 3570K uses DDR3 RAM and and the 6400 uses DDR4 RAM. The 6400 is getting a boost in those numbers with the higher speed RAM. Also, the K is meant to be overclocked

userbenchmark scores are averages and the 3570K is usually overclocked. At 3100 MHz it of course sucks but it can do 4.5 GHz easy. In Cyberpunk you run at 35W. Mine takes 85W peak. Also make sure you have a motherboard that can supply enough power.

For just gaming yes, for gaming and streaming hell no, because any quad core with just 4 threads is just not enough for to handle both simultaneously..

Clearly the i5 3570K is far superior than the i5 6400, it has a K in the name! Everyone knows the K suffix gives an extra 69-420 FPS on games, duh. But for real people in my country will actually pay more for a 4770k than a R5 2600. bruh. Also, I missed that outro so much.

​@@dichevskiyo boy higher clocks doesn't meant you get better fps or faster rendering speed that's not how programs codes/software works. Newer CPU has modern instructions and extension which is not available in older generation. that's why even lower clocks speed but very effective because of this latest instructions and extension. at least watch the video till end before commenting the false information lol

@@PREDATEURLT my thoughts exactly R5 4500/3600 and 5600 is my idea on the AMD side, this is especially cool since im more a oldschool gamer and i love budget builds so i like getting hardware good enough for some newer titles but ill use the hardware on older games my current setup is... CPU: i5 4690 RAM: 16gig DDR3 1600mhz GPU: RTX 2060 6gig OS:128gig+4TB HDD PSU: Corsair GS800 and people crap themselves when i tell them 100fps ave in Resident evil village Ultra 1080p,90fps ave Doom eternal maxed out with the disable VRAM limit enabled as the game bitches about 6gigs of VRAM, 100fps in the Forest 2018, 80fps in Stray at 1080p ultra and 98fps or so if i remember correct in Unigen heaven maxed out and 168fps at Ultra minus max tesselation, i'm honestly just pissed that our wifi service is having issues as i want to document how well my pc performs as MANY people feel the i5 4690 would be a monster bottleneck when in actuality it isn't as much alby a i7 4790K OC to 4.6ghz would be a massive upgrade i'd say.

Have you tried fresh install OS on 3570k? Cuz i had weird issue where i put an OS that was originally installed by a different cpu and then make sure your ssd is pluged in to a sata 3 supported slot because some of the slots from this cpu board are only sata 2 make sure its sata 3 and im pretty sure this was the weird issue you had when you played fortnite. Cuz this cpu is fast as hell i got a cpu that goes 4.2 ghz without even oceing it. Weird. And btw dont use stock cooler lol this thing needs a good cooler atleast a better one than stock.

You're tests are not so true if you pair both cpu with something like a gtx 1050 or rx 460 then deferents are not going to be noticeable
