Awesome video, Jacob ❤❤❤That whirlpool ride was originally known as The Rotor back in the 50-80s.. it’s much bigger than that one and the floor dropped deeper than that one, The one in Coney Island was called Hell Hole, it opened in 1976, and in 1995, a bad accident happened, one of the barriers holding the barrel cracked and broke and the barrel broke apart, and the poor people went flying like dolls when the operator pushed the emergency stop button, some people lost their limbs. 😢 it’s no longer there @ CI. I rode it a few times. I think the Luna Park in Sydney might still have the original Rotor ride today.

at 7:46 that was out like in 68 or so, was my 7th grade field trip to hershey park , pa it was called the roundup,, floor drops out, and you are stuck against the wall

I can't believe you rode those rides . I have super long hair and was almost strangled on that spinning ride...gravitron My hair got stuck behind me and when you lift up , my hair pulled my neck and head backwards and pulled and pulled my head back the whole time.. this was on the old BOBLO ISLAND. You feeling that strangling was me but we were leaned more against the wall...I never rode anything like that again.

Kings Island had that whirlpool ride when I was little in the 70s. It was my favorite ride! It was called the rotor I think. It would probably literally kill me now! Lol

Back in the day (1970's) we had the Whirlpool type ride at the Annual Fair. The idea was that after the floor dropped, you turned yourself head down and feet up🙃 That was the best way to ride 🤪

I remember a design similar to the Whirlpool at Astroworld in the 1970's but it was not see through. The one I remember was about the same size and the floor dropped out from below. I liked it then but I doubt I would now, if it was still around!

the gatorland section of that haunted house looked really cool with effect used to make it look like a swamp. and the gyroscopic bumper cars look like they could be fun but would be so hard to drive swinging around so much, plus i could see it getting pretty nauseating. that dragon theater/darkride building would have fit in quite well in epic universes how to train your dragon land

Jacob, love the IAPPA videos... Do you think that you could leave the camera on the price tags of the " demo " items that are for sale, ie There was an animation Dino for $4500.
