Fell a little bit in love with him during the series.

Is it just me but I thought Lou was WAY more competitive than Iain. I mostly remember him being goofy (loud, yes, at times, but more silly and goofy.) But Lou was constantly thirsty for points.

And argumentative as well, she was way more annoying than any other competator on this show.
@ErimlRGG Жыл бұрын
Sure but Iain was visibly more upset and angry multiple times and he was more vocal about it, usually Lou had a small on her face or you saw her sad, instead of angry. The "problem" is not that he's competitive is that he is was kind of rude and threw some tantrums, and I can see people being annoyed by that. I honestly don't care, found him pretty funny and he has some of the most legendary moments in Taskmaster

@@bcaye dude, there's series where the whole panel is argumentative against Greg haha

Can’t stand Lou she’s not funny and horribly competitive in a nasty way. Iain is cute as a button! But I bow to Greg as always! 🥰😍

I’m not really sure why so many dislike him. He’s not my favourite contestant, but he wasn’t bad and I don’t think he was any more annoying than most of the other contestants

3:22 I hope Alex only mistakenly said 10 minutes and didn't actually short him on the 20 minutes they were supposed to get for volcano building!

I struggle watching this season not bc I don’t like iain but bc I understand him too much. I really struggle with anger and competitiveness that looks a lot like his and I know that it’s not as simple as just ‘chill out.’ I’ve been in therapy for a long time and I still struggle to regulate my emotions. He seems to genuinely regret it afterwards every time and I get that as well. Obviously it does mean being a dick is excused, but it sucks to feel like you don’t have control over your emotions and reactions.

I especially loved the way he used to bark obnoxiously at Lou Sanders during team tasks.... what a gent Ian Sterling is

She is a Saint for having to put up with him. He was funny for about 2 seconds after that he reminded me of all the people I had to do group work with in school and college. He is tied with Katherine Ryan for my least favourite contestants.
@shish90943 жыл бұрын
I actually found her annoying during their team tasks and probably would have acted similar towards her. And then felt bad watching back...just as he did. As someone who is super competitive, I understand his side.
@jmckendry842 жыл бұрын
I liked him most of the time, but the task where they had to put the most weight on a hammock was just awful. He seemed like he was deliberately acting up for attention, like a naughty kid. Pretty much the only task I've not enjoyed watching. To be fair, he did feel embarrassed watching it back and seemed genuinely sorry. I guess the cameras and his competitive nature just brought out the worst in that case.

Hmmm….we saw a side to Iain in this series which wasn’t very attractive, mainly the bullying behaviour during the group tasks
@shish90943 жыл бұрын
He was not a bully. Just assertive and went a little overboard at times. Those things happen with competitive ppl. He apologized when he saw it and Lou did as well because she could see she was not without blame either.
@genghiscan29182 жыл бұрын
At least he seemed genuinely disappointed at his behaviour after the fact, so perhaps it's something he's learned to work on?
@jmckendry842 жыл бұрын
@@shish9094 no, I'd call some of it bullying, particularly some of his behaviour during the hammock task. He did seem like he was being deliberately antagonistic towards Lou, like it was some sort of attention seeking. He did seem embarrassed and sorry about it afterwards, to be fair. I don't think he's a bad person, but the team tasks seemed to bring out his worst side unfortunately.

his extreme competitiveness was a major reason why i disliked that season

Weirdly that’s what made it for me, just an ultra competitive guy that keeps shooting himself in the foot. It probably wouldn’t have if he’d been as big a dickhead during the studio tapings as he was during the tasks though.
