Although I was a Clay fan, I loved Reuben as well. Great seeing them together and so happy for their long lasting friendship. Excited they’ll be touring together soon. Megan is gonna make it big. I have no doubt. Great country voice. There are no words to describe Iam. He makes me cry when I hear him, because he penetrates my soul. I hang onto every word he sings. He’s a true gift from above.

My other favourite classic performances 😂 Ruben and Clay still stunning voices on stage and best friends since 2003 season 2 show. I loved this so much. Iam wasn't even thought of back then and Megan barely a new born. This performance is just wonderful and those high notes wow!!!

Ohhh RUBEN - your voice just gave me chills. Such a wonderful voice along with Clay's too. Those first 2 mins 30 secs was perfection ♥. Love that Iam/Megan came out but they barely sang. It should have just been Ruben/Clay singing AND i love that they are still such friends now will be touring. IN OTHER NEWS - still on a h*gh tho that our boy Iam won! We made it happen!!

Clay is the best ever from Idol, IMO. I like Ruben as a person, and they do duets great, but Clay is one of a kind. Nobody matches his long notes! He's irreplaceable.

They should have brought Iam and Megan in sooner or left them out of this performance. It really was beautiful with just Reuben and Clay, they both sounded wonderful!

The year before, i felt the connection to the now late willie spence's talent, soul/character & amazing voice as i did rueben studdard. This year i wondered how it could match. Then iam tongi entered the scene & i knew. Such a beautiful soul/character & amazing voice & talent that pulls you in to the moment & lyrics. He laid his heart out like a road map in his song choice with a reason/meaning behind it & slayed the stage. He didn't need frills, trills, or work around the stage when his unbridled & refreshing talent & character in person was within him. The connection to his choices were key, but his delivery was extraordinary & epic. Don't know how american idol will top Iam this upcoming season.
