I think it makes much more sense if you put it in 3 videos, 1 video each season… bc it’s filled with so many lessons and good storylines that i feel like one video can’t do it justice!

7:05 While it's never mentioned how Aang is able to handle the extreme cold, he's never shown to be bothered by it. However, in the sequel series, Legend of Korra, it is explicitly stated that airbenders can manipulate the temperature of the air around their bodies to either cool down or warm themselves. So, I assume that's what Aang's doing too though it is never stated in this particular show.

Firebenders can do a similar thing but internal. High lever firebenders can also manipulate temperature gradients, as in they can pull heat away something. We only ever see that once though. See if you catch it.

Each bending is based on a different martial art, that's why the movement is different and so unique and distinct to each bending

Airbenders can warm themselves in cold temperatures with their breathing. Aang is a master. The youngest of his generation. Only master airbenders have arrow tattoos.

The main cast is all minors (12-16), Aang is chronologically 112 but his physical age is 12, Katara is 14, Sokka is 15, and Zuko is 16...

I can buy all their ages but Azula being 14 is forever a shock. She doesn’t even seem like the younger sister. She doesn’t act like a 14 year old, doesn’t look like a 14 year old. She looked 20 - 22 in her final scenes

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if you did a video for every episode! I love seeing how your expectations and thoughts evolve over time. Another channel did 4 episodes per video. It allows for plenty of speculation and commentary so you can go more in-depth with your analysis. Just some suggestions! Out of the two options you gave, I personally think 3 videos, one per season would be better.

The monks have a technique that allows them to control their body temperature through breathing, and the tattoo means that Aang is an airbending master, so he's able to use this technique to keep himself from freezing.

Each of the elements have distinct styles of bending based on real life martial arts Air-Baguazhang Water-Tai Chi Earth-Hung Gar Fire-Norhtern Shaolin kung fu There's also an earthbender later in the show who uses a different style based the Southern Praying Mantis style of kung fu

There are some shows I wish I could 100% forget and then re-watch them fresh. This is one of those shows. I've seen it many times, usually re-watch it at least once per year and have lately gotten into watching reaction videos to them. You're in for a real treat with this one.

About bending: all air nomads were benders (before the fire nation attacked). It’s believed that it’s because of how spiritual they were. For water, earth, and fire there are benders and non benders, it seems slightly genetic but is likely a recessive gene; but as mentioned with the air nomads, it also had to do with how spiritual the nation as a whole is. The show will touch on why Katara is the only water bender in the South pole. If you were to look at the Avatar map, you’ll see that the Water Tribes have locations at the North and South Poles, the Fire Nation is a group of Islands, the Air Nomads had 4 temples: North, South, East, and West and the Earth Kingdom is the main land mass in the middle. The reasons the Fire Nation was able to get so far in the war has to do with a lot of things you’ll see later, but also because there was never a united front between the other 3 nations; the air nomads were gone, the Water Tribes are on opposite sides of the world, and the Earth Kingdom is very spread out so there wasn’t really a way to fight the fire nation with a united front.

so avatar bending is based off of fouyr chinese martial arts. Air is baguazhang, Earth is Hun Gar, Water is Tai Chi, Fire is Northern Shaolin

I love that you are watching Avatar! I loved it as a kid. There is also a spin off with 4 seasons it’s called Legends of Korra. A live action movie does exist but I wouldn’t recommend it, however Netflix is adapting it to live action as well.

Season 1 does good but has a very episodic feel. The story ramps up over the next 2 books. Please deep dive the show. I strongly recommend do a separate vid for each season, they are 1 continuous story, but the general feel changes between seasons as the finales hit pretty hard.

1. Aang grew up in high altitude mountains so yes he's used to tghat type of temperature. also avatyar extras explaisn airvbenders use breasthing techniques to keep their body temperature up so aang never gets cold as long as her is breathing.

The arrow tattoos mean he's a master airbender. He completed his training and knows all techniques for airbending. The reason this was mostly surprising is because of the airnomad status and Aangs young age
