Nah fam, nothing was missing, you had to listen to the entire album and it makes sense. If it was a single, yes the bar would be a little lower for that being an A7X song but in an album, especially where some of the songs even transition into others, eh, it’s great. I almost think you should’ve listened to the entirety of the album in order. City of evil is a masterpiece.

Buried Alive, The Stage, Save Me, So Far Away, and Afterlife are some of their best. But definitely DON'T watch the music video for Afterlife. It cuts out some of the best parts including bits of the solo. Conversely, definitely DO watch the music video for So Far Away but make sure to read up on the context first.

Those songs have the missing thing you were looking for, BOOIIIII 🤘 This whole album is super dope, it got me into A7X and changed my life, music-wise. It's not missing. Die hard mega A7X fan here. The whole point of this song was to be a giant drum solo turned into a song. This is one the 10 best drum master pieces ever made. Give it another listen with that in mind

Yeah, not sure who suggested this, but it's not so much a song to react to unless you're really into A7X. Songs that would be appropriate to react to are songs with a story like M.I.A, So Far Away, Save Me and last but not least Afterlife. There's a solo in there that'll melt your brain for sure.
