What magnificent whistling!!! How could you not be happy listening to this music. I wish it wasn't so long ago that I first heard Jethro Tull and Ian. We lived at the best time in Australia. The 60's, 70's and 80's...... there will never be a better time.

Never really “noticed” this chipper little tune till I heard Stewart Wood play it masterfully on acoustic guitar recently (YT channel is his name - highly recommend). Thanks to Mr. Wood for bringing this and some other leaser-known but wonderful IA tunes to my attention, and more than anything, thank you Mr. Anderson for writing and recording them!

Rosemary B-C That’s fab Rosemary, I’m really happy for you. We’re the same age but I didn’t discover him until I was 15; ever since he’s been the soundtrack of life. All the best👍💗

Wow I am an old Tull fan from the very early albums back in the late 60s, I stayed in the rut with the early stuff and still do but this is so refreshing different but has Ian,s signature all over it, the lyrics as ever poetry.

I think Ian has unfortunately lost the sparkle in the vocals which always happens with longevity I think due also to his respiratory ailments
@penelopehughes-jones52654 жыл бұрын
Neil Angus I think anyone playing this incredible music, over 50yrs after starting, in their 70s, with COPD, following a total loss of voice at one point, needs a cup-of-wonder-half-full approach, Neil! It’s an absolute gift from God to still be able to hear Ian and actually, listening to this I think his voice sounds stronger than it has in ages.
