He didn’t live there though he wishes he did because he loves everything about it he only stays there for two months every year before going back to England

Very nice and informative! Trying to get a hint of Fleming's watch. Very possibly a Rolex Explorer, which he frequently wore. Flemings daughter felt that the Explorer was the actual watch of Bond, given Fleming's propensity to give his character his own tastes.

Indeed, since 1961 British author Ian Fleming wore a Rolex Explorer 1016, case number 596851 on a steel 7206 bracelet. Fleming loved watches and offered Blanche Blackwell a Cartier watch for a story she told him, which he used as basis for "Quantum of Solace". Other British men wearing the Explorer include Sir David Attenborough and Roger Smith. #Moonwatchuniverse #IanFleming

Downfall of British Empire? goodness so rooted in their unreasonble snatching of others territories, gone to do businesses and then went on to occupy own them, was not right moves, instead learn from other invaders or adventure armadas how they mixed with locals first creating sound stable bussinesses not monarchies of dominations, well, they all had very wise advisors who guided them like Birbal to Akbar who had him married to hindu princess to forge social liasons first, this then infouences the local population that it is alright to do so, your leaderships have great influence on their public, but then you have to have that kind of leaderships first which inspires the public.
