@Taz6688 that’s very kind of you!!! One of the main reasons I use the GoPro on my head is to give the impression that you’re actually holding the rod with me!! Most videos show a static camera which is good in some way but loses a bit of intimacy I think!!! Cheers ian

Delighted to see your video pop up on a Monday afternoon immediately after work Ian . Weather looks great down there compared with South East Scotland, First day at least !. Good to see a small codling turn up. Hope it's a sign for the winter for you guys down on Chesil? Black bream look really beautiful , I've never caught one . Thoroughly enjoyed watching , Tight lines to you both

So glad you enjoyed watching it makes the effort all worthwhile! The Chesil codling are always early we had a few a couple of weeks ago after a big storm…. Most are well gone by Xmas! The bream are lovely to look at and tasty too….. better than bass to eat I think! I’m originally from Northumberland caught by first fish at Alnmouth over 60 years ago…. Not too far from you!! Cheers Ian

Love the Chesil videos. What height of tide is your ideal for the best chance on the big beach? Thanks
@ianclarkfishing2 ай бұрын
Hi Martin glad you enjoy the videos!!! The key to catching on Chesil is to concentrate your efforts when the tide is running…. This is usually a couple of hours either side of low and high water as a rough guide. A high tide of about 2m is probably my favourite though I have caught on big neeps and springs. Cheers Ian
