Yes Brean very featureless but holds loads of shrimp in the mud/sand. Most fish we keep have lots in them. The cod feed on the whiting too but both scarce this year!! Glad you enjoyed the video thanks for watching cheers ian

Nice to see some caught chaps. I'm currently fishing lilstock as we speak. 5 hours in not a bite. Fishing top end of channel from lilstock to Porlock and its been a dead few weeks guys.. codling have been plentiful for myself up intill a thew weeks ago this end.. looking forward to the summer fish to move in now. Then I will be hound hunting. Good luck lads. Tight lines

Hi chaps. went there last Monday and had just one bite that didn't develop. Was 11.6 metre tide and lug bait too. You 2 go and fill ya boots. Flippin typical! I keep trying and will get something one day. Cheers, Doug in Wiltshire.

Hi Simon rods low only to prevent neck ache plus not really any advantage I think on a shallow beach especially when it’s calm with little wave. Will fish them higher in windy conditions!! Thanks for watching cheers ian

Great to see Chris in his stoic Andy Cap stance reeling them in. I remember being very partial to an Embassy Regal when fishing in my youth. I think February and fishing just don’t go together. Was that wine or beer that the bucket was used for?. Stay safe and tight lines. Mike.

Nice vid, shame the bass couldn’t be a bit bigger. Where is best to park at Brean? I was thinking of maybe making a trip there, but have read horror stories about the parking companies there.

You can park opposite Brean village hall on the grass verge but don’t park behind the double yellow lines or you will get a ticket!!! Usually plenty of parking! Thanks for watching cheers ian
