Appreciated the logical and comprehensive approach. A serious extended jamming session to start or end with would make it even better.

I have one of these and I really love it! Even if I'm a lefty I can't find anything wrong with it! And it really suits the rock and metal I love to play🤘🤘🤘

I know right, Ibanez's website is hopeless... They don't show half the guitars available and you need to look elsewhere. Example, the J Customs.

Had one for a month, horrible, feels plastic to play, I have two 90's Fujigen RG's and a 2011 RG1451, and this Indonesian crap is a joke of an instrument. It might look like a try hard prestige, but it's really a very cheaply made Cort. The bridge is hell to work on, the fret work while being nicely edged off is actually really bad. The body feels like it's hollow and doesn't do the guitar any favors when it comes to sustain. The only positive is the neck itself, but that's the only thing that I didn't find wrong with this guitar. I will never buy an Indonesian made Ibanez again. Avoid like the plague.

I’ve been debating between a premium or prestige.... I’m happy to finally see a negative comment lol helps me justify the prestige!
@kotekutalia4 жыл бұрын
If fretwork is not good you might have got a lemon. The body is made of basswood. I don't know what's wrong with it except being dented quickly. Also it features alnico pickups. Not for everyone.
@dakotamorgan65944 жыл бұрын
@@kotekutalia I agree, if the fretwork is no good it's got to be a lemon, but I'm not sure I understand you on the alnico comment. Alnico magnets are the most widely used in guitars and come in verying degrees of strengths and voicings. There kind of is an alnico pickup for every genre. This type of alnico pickup may not be for everyone
@kotekutalia4 жыл бұрын
@@dakotamorgan6594 Indeed. From my experience ceramic magnet pickups are more used in high-gain settings where high-mid cut is important. So if you were looking for a perfect metal axe, it's not that. Also the Tight-End R bridge is little more complicated than a Tune-O-Matic. But it also offers (presumably) more sustain. It's also very comfortable to play and quiet. Oh, and you can also adjust each saddle height individually.
@dakotamorgan65944 жыл бұрын
@@kotekutalia now that makes more sense. Ceramic magnets are king in metal axes. I play soft rock- heavy rock personally so I could give with either. I personally prefer alnico myself. Ceramic is incredibly versatile as well. Fender uses ceramic pickups in most of the Mexican line up.
