I think the mc might actually be modeled after the yogurt which started the whole thing. The whisp of hair he's got mimicking the yogurt.

maybe the wisp of hair resembles the yogurt in general, the very pink color of the skin resembles the eventually chosen strawberry yogurt, and the yellow shirt resembles the cup that holds the yogurt!

This one's a bit harder for me to explain since I don't remember what everything means. I'll try to explain to the best of my ability! Milk: Make the most of your life, because everybody dies one day. Bread: Don't let your material possessions represent you. Also, dont make being super rich your lifelong goal. Paper Towels: Life is unpredictable, don't try and plan for the worst, because stuff just happens. Oatmeal: Don't become a slave to your routine. You can have a routine, but try to have variety in your life. Coffee: Everything in moderation, fairly simple, best explained with coffee. There's such thing as too much of a good thing. Cheese: Trust your gut, pick something random, you might actually like it. Hope I got all that right! Not too sure! Glad you enjoyed!

the milk lady did look like a carton, but the bread guy was shaped like artisanal bread, and the jar guy was shaped like paper towels. obviously, the coffee lady looked like a coffee cup.

One of my favorite things Jack did in this is during Oatmeal, the song about sticking to a strict schedule making it harder to adapt if the unexpected happens. The song starts out with a normal flow, then when the song addresses unforeseeable events it changes tone into something completely different with very random pacing. It reflects its message in the music itself, and I love it!

note for everyone who hasn't seen SHOP: A Pop Opera. every person he encounters is shaped like the food he is about to get. and how they act is a bit of a spoiler for what is, either going to happen next, or about what is about to be sung. examples: Milk, is where this milk lady askes for cookies, and expires at the last second, and Oatmeal is where someone talks to him about how you kinda have to think ahead in time, later he sings about if he were to buy a hundred boxes of oatmeal, he would be eating the same thing then eventually getting over-whelmed and go crazy. your welcome for the explainstion

Hello! I would like to recommend a band if you're interested. Car Seat Headrest Although I wouldn't recommend your normal way of checking new stuff out (aka listening to the most popular songs) because car seat headrest usually has concept albums so the album as a whole is 1 experience but I still do think you would enjoy it! (It's very low fidelity rock with confessional and personal but also cryptic lyrics)
