I think because they are playing on a modded version of the game (with universal controller fix, PS2 set to no transformations) - I'm pretty sure they have Slippi installed too which pulls a ton of complex game stats. i feel like leffen is still a contender. you gotta realize he hasnt been able to play against american foxes. if he can play them more i feel like he can adapt. lots of flubs from him in this set. he isnt sharp as he could be but his mind is there for sure. he is going for good stuff

It definitely works both ways because this isn't Cody's best gameplay either, he flubbed a bunch this set as well, but he adapted and cleaned up his gameplay by game 2, and had the download complete by game 5. Leffen was playing pretty clean the first two games, but got worse as Cody began applying the pressure. All in all a good set, and I'm not saying you're wrong, just that it works for both of them, because I've seen Cody play better, and I do think Cody played better than this against Zain the next game

@@TheChikleMasta it doesnt go both ways cuz cody has had an insane amount of top level practice and has been competing a lot whereas leffen literally couldnt due to covid+visa issues. Cody was flubbing cuz he was scared to lose to an inactive player.

Cody is new to the top level melee, leffen has been in it for years, and leffen was entering European melee tournaments, it's not like he was completely inactive like m2k was. He wasn't scared of losing to an inactive player, he wanted to prove he was above leffen in the fox meta because people had been discrediting him this whole time, it is not the same as fear. Leffen stans always John for him when he loses, so your comment was predictable
