@JasonMitchellOutdoors11 ай бұрын
A ten inch auger flighting might be too much for an electric drill. We usually use six or eight inch flightings. When we do use ten inch augers, we use gas power heads. If you do try a drill, use a brushless 24 volt or a mud mixer.

I've been watching a lot of your videos recently. Good stuff. If you had someone ice fishing for the first time and had no experience with it at all, what lake would you suggest they go to? I'm open to anywhere in the Midwest and will take your previous advice and look for a guide.

What I do to help find fish since I don’t have a sonar I go to the bait shop and ask for the dead minnows and set those up on my tip ups and spread them out about 50-60 feet apart and if one flag keeps popping I set up camp at that hole and jig a live/dead minnow or other bait
