And that’s the way it is done. When I was younger, we would catch catfish and crappie, go straight back to the cabin and cook them . Dad said if you don’t have to watch and keep them from jumping out of the pan they’re not fresh enough. Great memories. Nice gills. Great video Jake.

Yea what you say ! Cajun chef is the bomb , had a little trouble getting it , here lately. I like that sirratche .(?sp?). I dont spell foreign / have enough trouble spelling English, good pepper flavor. Been using cajun chef 5/6 yrs . My go to sauce / right behind pbr, Come on spring . My old bones dont take the cold anymore . Grandson & I heading up your way 1st sat april , inland trout season opener .. Snug lines , Grandpa -jeff - s/w il.

Bass is good table fare. Especially when they are 12-14”. Of course this was a private pond that needed proper management. So, I don’t worry too much about keeping a few. But, I like bluegill and crappie way better.

I was holding my plate up to the screen, guess you didn’t see me. No hot sauce of any kind. If you move as slow as me, you don’t do that. If you read what I’m saying. I don’t eat for 3 days if I’m even thinking about going fishing. Even then I wear a depends. There’s double benefit to that ya know, if I get a PB I can get as exited a want. Just sayin….benefits of being old and disabled. That’s why we get discounts on our fishing license. They know what it really costs guys like me to go fish. A lot more than people know.
