Ice Fishing Lake st. Clair. The perch were biting hard today, but the key was to find the schools and move around. Cranked up a 3 man limit. kinda like a fishing vlog. enjoy!

nice job on finding the fish , I live 10 minutes away from the area you were fishing, lots of fish out there just have to keep moving to find the schools of bigger fish. I use the spoons out there

I don't agree with keeping the fish on the ice and then throw them back but great vid
@fastfeh16 жыл бұрын
The reason you don't throw them back right away you scare the others away. Did you ever see one thrown back? They head butt the bottom 50 MPH in 6 to 8' of water. Didn't see them keep any small ones.

Dude I'm fine with people keeping small fish but if you're gonna throw them back, throw them back quickly with out messing them up. don't leave 'em up on the ice like that
@purefishingoutdoors18837 жыл бұрын
I understand your concern but its not like keeping a fish out of water in the summer time when it is warm. In the winter, these fish metabolisms slow way down and require much less oxygen than in the summer. so keeping them out of the water for a minute so we don't scare the school way does not hurt them in any way. I get if it was like 5 F out but it was like 25 F and their skin wont freeze also. They all swim off right away unharmed. just to add when we got home and cleaned the fish after sitting in the bucket for a few hours, they were still all flopping all over the place and honestly could've swam off just fine

Why not just throw them back they won't scare the school. If your going to keep them on the ice just fill a bucket of water.

Hey TheBuckmaster78 -At 1:29 grey jacket fisher dude drops transducer aka. the working end of a fish finder into the hole. Hey Brennan you outta see the fish kept by the new_to_the_country fishers. I would have agreed with you 25 years ago, but these jokers keep EVERYTHING. There was a time when a dad could take his kids fishing knowing there would be plenty of catch and release. It was a fun day out for all. Now a days I dont see any dads with children. It got so bad the local MNR passed a law prohibiting fishing within 75 feet of any dam, spillway or locks. I will agree with you, it shouldnt take long for that fishery to recover.

If you keep the fish on the ice for more than a few minutes they will likely die even if they do apparently swim off. Upgrading dead fish is wasteful!

Throw those dinks back right away, no reason to keep them above ice any longer than needed. Wouldn't hurt to bleed the keepers either. Good fishing.

You should really wear shades when you're out there all that snow is like a million tiny little mirrors reflecting light into you're eyes and it can make them sting like hell when you move them or blink, it also has long term affects on you're eyes.

a 11 inch perch is not jumbo , not even close, we don't say jumbo until they hit 13 or higher. based on the pail those weren't jumbos at all. but good fish either way.

@VersatileBassFishing4 жыл бұрын
You should each have your own bucket and not mix your limits. Each of you could have been ticketed by the Officers if they saw you mixing fishing into a "community bucket". Reason being there is no way to know who caught which fish and no way to tell if anyone is over their limit. I think you'd be able to fight it but why risk the hassle for a $5 bucket?
@JBOutboards4 жыл бұрын
These aren't jumbo.more like forage size.

@brennenb96097 жыл бұрын
Over harvesting? Do you know how fast panfish reproduce?
@10fishkiller6 жыл бұрын
Maybe all electronics.....we definitely don't need the unfair advantage of tornado sirens, air bag sensors, and oh yeah, they should absolutely get rid of defibrillators, and it would be much better if in case of emergency at schools that there would be no way to reach parents with cell phones. It would be awesome if we could just ban electricity all together.
