I’m a little in awe at how little editing was done to these moments. In any American cooking competition, any disaster would be drawn out as much as possible, with cuts to commercial break and as many dramatic pauses as possible. Here they just add some quirky music and let the moment stand on its own.

Don't know how much truth there is to it, but from what I've heard, the show's presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins curse and/or say brand names when a contestant cries, so that any footage of it isn't fit to air, and a low emotional moment like that doesn't get saved forever.

Mood If you watched the episode, it was a very hot day when it happened. Even contestants that were interviewed commented that the tent can get sweltering. Additionally, there were limited freezers for their baked Alaska. Guess what happens if you constantly open and close the freezer? The interior gets warmer and it doesn’t cool down as efficiently. Everyone and their parents knows this. There was no sabotage. It’s a baking show for goodness sake, there isn’t any money involved for the winners. Why would they sabotage each other? The only people saying it is sabotage take the show way too seriously and want to ruin people’s lives over nothing.

i feel them all because i do this all the time. you're almost done with bakingl you're so ready to look at the final result, but then you spill or drop something. absolutely heartbreaking and incredably frustrating.

Those are mostly no fails but the results of a messy working space.
