Hello, I just watched your Iceland videos and am looking to the rest, but I have some questions. If you don’t mind me asking, about how much was the trip aside from flight? (Accommodation, car rental, food, and anything else that would be beneficial) My husband and I are looking to go in the summer and doing as much research as possible and trying to figure out what type of itinerary to do for 4 or 5 days. Thanks!

@@elizabethtaylor337 great questions! Our air bnb was about $900, the car about $400 for 8 days, and food was a bit pricey as they are known for. There are definitely cheaper options like making food at home (I recommend bonus store for food) and hot dogs! Iceland is know for hotdogs and they are pretty cheap compared to the rest of the food. I would say we spent quite a lot on food but we chose to eat out a lot. For excursions, we spent about $500 each for both lagoons, lava show, bus tour, and museums. All of which you can pick and choose what you would like to do. Keep in mind in the summer the daylight is a lot longer and some of the ice activities are not recommended due to warmer weather. We did a tour of the south shore and it was awesome! I would be happy to chat more or elaborate more if you have any other questions. More or less, it is a bit pricey but it’s worth it and there are definitely cheaper ways to go about it! You should definitely go! 😊
