It will come a day when they learn more Malays words, like cukup = enough ( example, iChang using hand sign to say enough could be replaced by "cukup") sikit or sedikit = a little sedap = delicious sangat sedap / sedapnya = very delicious (sangat = very) sangat baik = very good Makan = eat Makanan = food Masak = cook Masakan = cooking (as a noun) Masakan iChang sangat sedap! means : iChang's cooking is very delicious! IChang n Jimmy..my hats off to you both. This shows how much you really love Malaysian food. I suggest..next time buy the dark soy sauce as well that should make your dish darker. To avoid too spicy..you can limit the dried chillies. Anyway...well done guys. I agree with one of the comments. Why don't you learn Bahasa Malaysis during the lockdown. You can also make a video using Bahasa Malaysia.

It helps them even more if you click the ads and just browse the site for 5 seconds. Since youtube's algorithm will recognize that iChang's viewers tend to click on ads more they will start to generate more ads on their videos hence, they get more money from adsense.

I think it's because they only have two stove tops. HK living unlike in KL, we usually have minimum 4 stoves right..I think that's the reason :)

I cant stop smiling when the mamak scene start hahaha. From last time noob ordering, then order in malay, now u cook it from scratch. A+++ Since you nailed Daging Hitam, it shall be the main dish, then just make ayam goreng berempah, so you got the crispy texture + the tender beef. The sides combo were spot on ; kubis+salted egg+bendi. One more element papadam can be add too.

This goes to show a lot of our local content are not catering to international audiences. Local content creators should not restrict to only local viewers, they should provide eng sub, no need for a full on English video. Imagine if all animes, kdramas & variety shows don't have Eng sub? despite our interest, we won't be able to learn their culture nor the content. @@crankyoldlady2394 i said malay cooking style, put seasoning as ""agak-agak"" when you too pro in cooking, or start to cook frequently. You dont even need to use any measure tools. If you watch gordon ramsey in malaysia cook some nasi kerabu. You will know why i say agak-agak. Iam not said, nasi kandar is malay food. 2 different topic. Get it?

The best thing I love about dis couple is they experience cook new menu and go thru the hardship together. Especially Jimmy. U are very good and supportive husband to Ur beautiful wife. Not many man want to do cooking. They just demand wat they want to eat. Haishhh 😌 After dis please make Cendol n eat with durian. The taste is heaven😋😋😋

You guys are so cute!!! Ahaha..if you wanna get your daging hitam more black and thick broth i think you have to let it cook on the stove for a while in low fire. The good technique in malaysian cooking is to let it simmer until you can see the oil floating on the surface and that's what we called "pecah minyak". I always enjoy watching you guys cooking.
