Thats the beautiful teaching of Islam. By fasting, we as muslim learned the hard life of poor people that could not afford even a single grain and sip of clean water to their mouth. So, we tend to love and help the poorer more by 'sadaqah'. We also learned and always be reminded about how grateful we are as human to the Creator who is giving us all these natural resources (water, food, plants etc) around us. So we are being more appreciating, preserving and protecting the earth better.

Some tips: 1. You can remove the ginger's skin by scrape it off using spoon. Quicker and less waste. 2. Try sahur & iftar with dates and cold fresh milk. (If you are not lactose intolerance) 3. Brush your teeth right after you finish your sahur. During fasting also can. No problem. 4. Sharing your cooking with your neighbors is happiness. What a great fasting experience. Anyway, I really enjoy watching all your videos. Thank you so much for all your efforts. God bless both of you.

Love seeing you guys talked about Ramadhan. "It's about the faith in you..." Yes indeed. If it is not about faith, people can cheat in fasting [eat when there is no person watching], yet claiming they are fasting. Al-Bukhaari (1761) and Muslim (1946) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah said: ‘Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it…’” I hope both of you have an incredible experience on your first day of fasting! :) Stay safe and stay healthy 🌷🌷

I loved this. It's obvious you have done lots of research to try to understand things correctly 👍. Btw, during Ramadan Muslims are supposed to increase the time spent reading the Quran and doing other forms of worship as much as possible, as well as helping the needy more. There are also extra prayers after the night prayer, every night of Ramadan. So most of the day will be busy, not just sitting and waiting for iftar time 😊😊. You both did really well and were so respectful and positive throughout.

The moment when you have the 1st sip of that water makes you feel joy and happiness even make you really feel thankful. That's one of the blessings of Ramadhan. :) During fasting, you will think and imagine to eat so many foods during iftar but later on just having small portions of the foods make you already full. Yet, another blessing :)
@JulienCLS4 жыл бұрын
1. yes malaysia has typhoons but very very rarely, mostly we get tropical storms instead. The typhoons also rarely pass by Malaysia and make landfall so we mostly get the tail (still quite strong) making the weather windier and stormier than usual and because malaysia is surrounded by other countries like philippine and indonesia any storm or typhoon would be very weak by the time it reaches us. The last big one to make landfall on Malaysia was in 2001 and that was due to a super rare typhoon that formed in the South China Sea, said to form once every 4 centuries. 2. you can actually brush your teeth and floss during fast, as long as you're not swallowing anything. 3. work and school time is usually adjusted during the fasting month by about an hour or so, both formally and informally. Schools end earlier or start earlier. Some offices allow those fasting to leave earlier to make it in time to break fast at home. This however causes rush hour to start earlier. Some restaurants will close during the day and open at night while some who are fasting will sleep in the day and work/eat at night. But since its an annual thing, the changes don't seem too big anymore.

So happy that you guys are fasting 😘 just look at how you guys appreciate the food is really made my day but basically we don't really eat too much in iftar cause after that we need to perform solat maghrib and tarawikh. So if we are so full, then it's kinda hard to perform the solat. So in Malaysia, there's a " moreh " which is you will eat again after perform the solat. You can eat dessert or anything. Btw, love you guys . You are truly a Malaysian now 😝

We do not have large magnitude of typhoon like in Japan or The Philippines. Geographically, Malaysia is surrounded/protected by surrounding countries. Indonesia in the East and South, Philippines on the West, and Indochina (Vietnam, Thailand etc) in the North. These countries took the major blow whenever monsoon/typhoon season come.

Another way to cook easy beef rendang is , Blend dried chili + lemon grass + ginger + galangal + tumeric In presure cooker just get in together the beef, blended item & coconut milk. At the end, after the beef it cooked, add kerisik & salt. No measuring..just "agak-agak".... Looking forward for your next video... happy fasting ichang

Right! Kerisik is the magic ingredient in rendang. And no need star anise

@@mohd.hafizatan2774 yezzza.... kerisik is always the magic ingredient for making rendang... its not completed without it.... now i feel like making chicken rendang....hahhahah 😂😂😂😂
@aslam50444 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I cant remember when the last time we smach the ingredient except for the garlic. All we do is blend them all! Malay like to cook rendang because we just mix and cook all together. Just let it cook itself. We just to make sure, the core didnt burn (sometime we will come to stir at the bottom) then let it cook itslef. Rendang is a easy to cook.

Malaysian all "agak-agak"...when someone asking me how much this n that to put in...i'll get angry..dont asked me that question if u wanna learn cooking with me..becoz i dont know how to answer that question...use your "lidah" lah...no need "sukat" one...
@muhammadsamah20914 жыл бұрын
@@mohd.hafizatan2774 yup kerisik is important...for my family recepis Rendang Rawa, we use kerisik depending on how heavy/kg the meat is to be cooked example 10kg meats = 10kg kerisik. For Rawa Rendang We dont use coconut milk but we cooked the coconut milk till it's turned tick and oily it's cook separately. After the meat get tander with kerisik then we will put in the cooked coconut milk (we called it "taik minyak")
