Hi. Former Maggi staff again here ;)... Let me share some insider knowledge:- 1) Yeah we had to choose really low quality packaging materials... So that we can maintain low prices for you guys :p 2) Our Maggi Kari is made with 14 herbs and spices. And it's spicier because of the high chilli content. At the factory, we a"cook" our curry first and then dehydrate it to become powder. Same with Maggi India also. Other brands like M***e? They just use a mix of spices and they don't cook it first. 3) The Production Manager from Malaysia actually was transferred to Maggi India to help with making the noodles. That's why it's similar! But with regards to noodle size, Jimmy could be right, there may be a slight difference in size because different factories may use different sized cutter. But then again, we can adjust it to whatever size we want. 4) You guys should really try to cook as per the instructions (must see the water ml required). It will be really different. Malaysia one is like soup. while India is like gravy. 5) Maggi India and Malaysia no.1 customers are college students ;P

masala is the original curry flavour for indian & for the malay its green/red chili.. as far as i know,as in history, india trader come to malay land (the land called before the formation on malaysia) and they bring the herbs & introduced all kind of herb & spices, then the malaysian & indonesian adapt & mixing in their cooking.. and for indonesia & malaysia their spicyness come from red/green chili while the india spiciness comes from herb & spices (rempah ratus)..i guess thats why we are a bit more in term of spicy level compare to india.. for example, the india uses curry leaf way before the malay did for more natural flavoring (as far as i know)... thats the reason each country have different level of spiciness in term of spicy cooking.. as such mexico using the jalapeno pepper for spicy instead of curry leaves for examples.. they all unique in their own way & as you said, there are no winner instead of just based on level of preferences individual.. neverthe less, this is fun video..i never knew there was an india maggi lol...

As a Malaysian that have lived in Bangalore, India for 5 years - i can tell you for certain, Indian Maggi does not taste good. Really it is not... it taste bland, the Indian Maggi noodle also is of less quality/powdery... This is from my very own experience staying and eating Maggi while I was studying medicine there... The best instant noodle/the one that I often buy in India - is in fact - TOP RAMEN. I'd rather eat Top Ramen than Indian Maggi... but if I have Malaysian Maggi, I will eat that over Top Ramen.

I wasn't even aware that there was Indian Maggi. 😁 Just discovered this channel a couple days ago, I've been enjoying it a lot so far. I was wondering if the Indian Maggi was halal - I suppose it is, it's 100% vegetarian. I must admit, the curry flavor isn't my favorite. Come to think of it.. there IS an Indian grocery store nearby (Sri Paandi Cash and Carry at Jalan Bukit, PJ, near the University Hospital) - maybe I'll go look for this tomorrow. I wonder if they have it! If they don't, that grocery store in the basement of Nu Sentral might have it - they even have potato chips from India. I'll have to say - frying curry flavor maggi isn't the way most people do it. The instructions say to boil it in (much less than you were using) water and add the flavoring to the water. Not sure what the Indian instructions say to do. What you get at mamak restaurants when you order "maggi goreng" is what you made, I suppose. I don't know if they actually use the flavor packet.
