David.....could the SSL UC-1 be configured to work alongside the Icon V1-M? Just a thought. I lile the looks of the workflow on the V1-M better than the SSl. Bt i think i wouldnlike the plugin control better on the UC-1. This is probably a stupid question

I agree. I want both as well. I have the ssl complete subscription so the ssl controller would be better for the ssl plugins. Did you do it?

These are definitely beautiful stand units. The wood is finished really nicely. My only gripes with these stands is how my additional bulk they add to the controller units, which make they even more difficult to place on your desk. In most cases I don't think the wrist rests are helpful, although they add to the look, as most of the time your computer keyboard will sit ahead of it on your desk, so the wrist rest is redundant.

Amazing. Love the look. Definitely want to try out the V1M. Still debating on which model to go with since that last storm destroyed my studio. Which do you like better, the V1 or the Qcon Pro X?

I doubt it. People wont pay more for the stand than the cost of the controller. These are not "budget friendly" desk stands

What I REALLY need is a dust cover for my V1-M. The only one I have seen is on EBay and Etsy, but it ships from Bulgaria. :( This is a BEAUTIFUL item, well thought out and constructed. But $500? Ouch! That is out of my reach. :(
