You're not really missing much what's the timeline after 2008. I really fall off watching Disney channel in 2012. There just wasn't a lot to watch after Jessie, suite Life on Deck, and Good luck Charlie ended. I tried to keep the energy running but it just didn't work. I did watch the first two descendants movies and they're pretty decent beyond that Disney channel isn't it anymore.
