Did anybody else realize that the knight before Christmas is just the first Thor movie? Guy is about to become a higher rank of something (whether it be a knight or a king) but gets sent through space or time to modern day, gets run over by the love interest driving a car, everyone thinks he’s crazy because he’s talking about where he’s from, they go to a cafe to get breakfast where the guy is impressed by the new food he’s eating, asks for “another” but acts improperly. And we all know Loki shares characteristics with the hag.

A lot of people from North Africa and Persia wound up in England due to the crusades, proto-slavery, and some staying behind after the Roman invasions. Ok but the Christmas knight is literally a Thor/Jane rip off. Guy in armour gets displaced, is hit by a car with a pretty girl driving. Girl takes him to the hospital, doctors say he’s loopy. Guy talks in old English and is weird and doesn’t understand the world. Girl feels bad and let’s him stay at her house. Guy yells inappropriately in a diner. Guy and girl fall in love.

I think in this case, 'old' is used to emphasize her age. Similar to calling someone an 'evil villain.' The words have similar meanings, so the adjective is used as a way to indicate that the knight is referring to more to her age than her gender. So, at least in my interpretation, it is more like her is calling her an *_old_* woman. This is just my guess tho lol.

There is a part of my country were grown men get panicky if you suggest women could participate in their Traditional winter Parades as anything but seamstresses for the costumes or cooking food for the practise runs. Subtly implying violence if some woman should dare. Because that would Show that (and this is a quote) she is a witch that once to spoil the season. (No of course they don't believe in witchcraft hahahaha it's just a saying, but seriously... women shouldn't participate)

10:00 “Green with envy” is a phrase invented by Shakespeare during the Renaissance era. And we’re supposed to believe this knight is from the Middle Ages?? So unrealistic 0/10

"Renaissance? Medieval era? Aren't those like, the same thing because of knights? Yeah definitely, let's make him spew some shakespeare mumbo while instead of a knight speak intangible middle english and learning to communicate with modern english speakers." Edit: Dear God, I didn't proof read this when I made it... Fuck it. I'm too lazy to correct it.

You KNOW that any piece of media involving some past era won't actually represent that era in any sort of historically accurate way because that invloves _research_ you fool! They just speak in "Old Timey" and are confused by "selfies"

The knight movie is the equivalent of having a really great dream where you fall in love and wake up right at the worst moment and you just sit there in bed for like 30 minutes
