Yo, Vi Unge! Det er nogle alt for seje skuespillere, som vi har at gøre med her. Derfor skal vi selvfølgelig sørge for, at resten af verden også kan nyde godt af dem. Danmark er ikke så stort, så vi må hjælpe vores unge talenter, hvor de hjælpes kan. She's lovely and he's quite handsome! I knew I should have taken Danish in high school instead of Spanish or French..oh wait!...they don't teach Danish in our high schools alas.... :'( OT: It's is downright shameful that most Americans (like myself) barely can speak a second language while these Europeans speak multiple languages and very fluently. The Scandinavian actors on Viking speak English better than I do LOL! They start most of us off in the States too late too imo, in high school rather than grade school. And then the languages usually offered are just Spanish, French and German. Beautiful languages but it'd be nice if there were more choices. Like Danish. ;)

Margaret Tudor I'm Portuguese and the only other language I speak is English and a little Spanish because it's similar to Portuguese... Trust me Europe is not better than USA it's going down hill and fast especially western Europe, I say in the next 30 to 60 years Eastern Europe will take the lead.

Epic comment below. I think only the admin can go in through the back end and enable translates and then google will automatically translate it. Other than that, there may be other ways but I'm not sure.

Part 1: I can't add subs for some reason? :( I'll do a very rough translation here I guess. First question: Why should we watch Vikings? They just mention drama, violence, sex ("what kids are into these days", Marco says lol ) and of course because of the great actors. Second question: Introduce your characters. They talk briefly about the quiet, "mysterious" Hvitserk and the slave girl Margrethe. Ida mentions that Margrethe is in an interesting position being the lover of all the brothers. That some of the brothers are sweet - except the youngest. Third question: How did you get the part? They talk about the auditions and how they where informed of the parts. Marco remembers he fooled Alex (Ivar). They knew each other beforehand, but weren't allowed to tell if they'd gotten the part. So even when both of them had gotten the parts they messaged each other that they hadn't. After a week of doing that, Marco wrote Alex saying,"I know you got the part", Alex said "yeah, but you can say anything". Marco then revealed he also got it. :)

Part 2: "what is it like being part of such a big production?" They mention how nervous they were in the beginning and how the guys were pranked by Alexander Ludwig, which Marco says happens all the time. They talk about pranks a bit more (mention how they've heard stories of Travis as the famous prankster on set). Marco then explains how Travis pushed Alexander Ludwig in the water one day during a scene. Alexander had his phone and script on him. Ida: "It's total chaos. It's only Travis who can get away with that stuff."

omega1231 totally not true there are more similarities between the Scandinavian languages and English than German and English, people always forget the nordic influence on english about 300 years ago. Total nonsense what you’re talking, especially if you know both languages. Of course Danish and German Sound and generally are completely different, despite the fact that they’re from the same language family, Danish is still very north germanic, while German got some Roman influence in the past 100-200 years.
