As a long long time watcher & researcher of true crime I’ve not had any issues with how police have done anything. Their level of secrecy & lack of info are protecting the investigation, even at the cost of angering the families which is so tough. Families & the general populace almost never understand it. I’ve not had an issue with anything. LE has done so far, even their initial thoughts vs changing their mind on a few things, that’s all par for course. People expect everything now within hours to days, we live in a profoundly ‘immediate’ society. Even Amazon brings our orders now same or next day. But this release *does* feel too soon. Once they release they will never ever have a pristine scene - ever again. It doesn’t hurt anything to wait a bit longer. This is very soon. I hope the state + FBI have tremendously helped them. I do feel regardless of how long it takes, this particular killer will be caught. I send law enforcement a ton of support. They need it, and deserve it. Families are receiving love & support, be sure to support the morale of police who feel the great pressure of doing stuff ‘on time’

Clearly police have processed the crime scene, documented everything, and done every last procedure that needs to be done. No crime scene is preserved indefinitely! My hope is that if the personal items being given to victims' loved ones are blood spattered, police clean them up before returning them. Here in the UK my friend's sister and niece (mother and daughter),were brutally murdered in her home, by her boyfriend. He stabbed and strangled both women. When police forensic officers finished their work and told family members they could go into the house to retrieve any personal items, they found a very distressing scene. There was blood everywhere, and no clean up had been organised by police to spare them that trauma. I found this shocking - my friend together with other relatives, ended up having to buy cleaning supplies and clean up their loved ones' blood themselves. This included a heavy trail of blood up the stairs, where the killer had chased one victim, stabbing the back of her legs as she tried in vain to flee to the bathroom. Heartbreaking.

This is a ridiculous expectation. For a property owner to eat that cost. I understand how gruesome, heinous and brutal this crime is but, many homes have had devastating deaths occur inside if them, and that doesn't mean they should automatically be required to be demolished. Foolish, naive expectation. You're thinking emotionally, and again, I understand, but people can't live based on emotion. This is the property owners call and they shouldn't be pushed into doing what others think is morally right. I guess it would be okay as long as it's not you eating easily over a million in cost. These homes are extremely expensive I believe, especially in the college area. It's unrealistic to expect them to lose what they have already invested, as well as cost to demolish then rebuild again. I can speak on this because I own properties I rent out. Great sentiment in theory, but unrealistic. If it happened at one of my properties, I'd be transparent on what happened for potential renters but never demolish and rebuild. That would financial ruin me. It seems to me that whoever did this needed the victims to be asleep. So, they either had to be watching from outside or been invited to sleep over meaning they would already be inside and aware of who went to bed when. More likely outside and see the two sets of residents enter. In this scenario, the 2 survivors may have already been inside and asleep, so the killer was not aware of them being there. But that would indicate someone who didn't previously know about the 1st floor occupants. 🤔
@moaningpheromones2 жыл бұрын
anything is possible - i'd be surprised if it was someone invited to come in and sleep the night. really hard to say exactly why two were left alone. the house layout is an obvious possibility - plus maybe now knowing who was down there if anyone. if the killer didn't know them well - they could've had guns for all he knew. took the risk anyway. that makes you question maybe yes he did know them - knew they didn't own or use guns.

I was part of the Virginia Tech shooting; while we all went home when the school shut down, classes were largely full after the shooting. It's interesting to me that folks feel so unsafe with this incident that occurred off-campus that classes are so empty.

What do you think the main difference between that situation and this one is? How might that difference have an effect on student interactions after these different tragedies?

I feel for everyone. It’s my understanding that Xana had a difficult childhood due to her mom’s bad decisions in life. Of course I’m not judging her mom. I think her father did speak on Xana’s behalf. But her mom was arrested shortly later. Her mom probably feels so guilty. I just can’t imagine all the pain these murders have caused. I think it’s amazing that Xana was a hard worker and very focused on her classes, so she could have an amazing and successful life. I think her grandparents raised her. I really don’t know if I could do these interviews either. 💔💔💔💔 All of them were amazing. 😢😢

@@bbe3034 who hasn't made 'bad decisions 'in life??? Her poor mother, I could hear in her voice the same sound I myself have sounded like. Irregardless of Xanas mom had a past, I believe the father likely embellished the fact and kept distan e between her and xana not to protect t them but as retaliation for not being with him

I think moving stuff out of the house was a mistake. There may be a time when the court wants to bring the jury to the scene for a walk through. I’m sorry for the families who want their loved ones belongings, but convicting this demon is the sole goal here.

The sliding glass door in the kitchen, that opens to the patio area, does it connect to the hill behind the house? I've never heard anyone mention if it does or not.
@marionpeebles38362 жыл бұрын
photos that I’ve seen and drone footage I would say it doesn’t connect to the ground but anyone taller than I am good probably take that step my joint under 5 feet tall so I would say no thank you I’ll wait for someone to let me in but I think any male could stretch his legs out there and get on
@Lisabrrj2 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. Just look at some pictures from above and you'll see there's like an open backyard from the patio where the sliding doors leading to the kitchen are.
@timothynaquin88992 жыл бұрын
Knowing that, it appears that is the most likely point of entry and exit. Being able to slip in and out from the wooded area. The killer may not even know the other two roommates were even downstairs. Since all we can do is speculate, my guess is he came in through the kitchen, took care of the couple on the second floor then moved onto the third floor. I say he started with the couple first because the male would be the biggest threat. It's a house full of college students, he probably grabbed a beer on the way out. I do believe that there is a stalker. That's my theory on what happened. What's y'all's theory
