My son is a police officer and experienced a great deal of trauma when he and his partner entered a home where he found 2 people that were killed with a similar type of knife. He was 27 at the time. Both he and his partner required intense counseling and is now treating PTSD and depression. The young guys that entered the house after getting the 911 will most likely require the same. We must pray for all police and FBI, anyone that had to enter the house - even the students. God give them strength.

Thank you. I heard it described as "The CSI" effect. People see a crime, watch the investigation unfold, the smoking gun, crime solved, all in 60 minutes. I also watched the Casey Anthony trial unfold and watching her be acquitted was absolutely devastating. The case is not cold and they are doing exactly what they should do by not releasing any information about the investigation. I have even seen people saying the police need to disclose people's alibis that they have cleared. They have not cleared anyone and releasing their alibi to the public would interfere with them possibly reviewing said alibis and finding issues if they are there. Same with Delphi. Everyone saying they don't have a good case. The PCA only needs to have just enough probable cause to get the arrest.

When I was in school for my criminal justice degree, we did this exercise where a random kid chosen by the teacher, walked into the classroom while everyone else was walking in and settling down, he spoke to the teacher for a couple mins and then left right before class started, after that the teacher went around the entire class and we each had to name one thing about the kid that we noticed, half of the class didn’t even notice the kid was there and couldn’t give an answer even though that kid stood right in front of them, some students only realized they saw him after the teacher mentioned him or after another student mentioned something he was wearing (the lightbulb moment), the lesson……that just goes to show you how reliable witness testimony really is and how easily it can change. Your mind is not equipped to remember every little detail, especially if it’s something you’re familiar with (students were familiar with kids standing in the classroom talking to teachers and this guy was familiar with hearing weird drunk guy screams coming from the house), so it didn’t stick in the mind because it’s a regular occurrence, nothing abnormal to make you play closer attention. It’s just human nature, everyone wants answers, and cops suck at their jobs, but don’t be the judge and jury for someone who could be completely innocent because human minds are completely unreliable, a lot of cops don’t take witness testimony seriously anymore unless they can back it up with other evidence

Worth a shot to see if there was any creepiness/contention. Idk how productive it would be though, since he could just be their dealer, or one of them. Could be all he's hiding. Def seems to be hiding something or have some kind of motive for changing his story etc. Every neighbor around there who isn't a partying student probably loathes that house and the residents. At this point there are so many potential motives toward multiple victims, and many of those suspects also have ample opportunity living nearby and/or knowing someone who does, along with any rando that partied there, things associated with the school/frats, the corner club, etc., not to mention being able to see right in the place on every level, there's really no telling without more concrete information being released. Too many rabbit holes to go down and rumors and things to speculate on with the limited info currently released. I do think the drama/rumors/local knowledge/frats are going to play a role. I don't think for a second it's a random stranger who has never been in that house. They know them on some level and had a lot of hate and rage for them personally and/or what they represent. Probably fairly well with multiple targets in one group of people who were all super close. Plus, interior locks wouldn't have stopped someone with that much hatred, violence, and rage, so I think it's something specifically to do with those 4 that were the closest. Whether the others could have identified the killer bc of something that happened or inside info, or there was just hatred toward all 4 (or at the very least, one on each level) for whatever reason.

I disagree with his assessment of him using “Like” as a filler word and trying to buy time. You’d first have to know his baseline to see if it’s a word used in normal conversation and answering basic questions then when talking to him about this stuff you’d be able to tell if using “like” is out of the norm or if it’s usage is higher than in normal conversation but I think “like” has became part of the human lexicon, it’s used repeatedly in text and conversation, it’s just a different time than when he was a detective so without a baseline to compare with, i wouldn’t put a lot of stock in that.

I’m not trying to take anyones side and I certainly want this case solved and the person(s) responsible caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, however we can’t forget a person is innocent until proven guilty, and that dude despite his appearing to be weird, strange, awkward, and freely interjecting himself into the investigation. Therefore, he shouldn’t be harassed, physically accosted, or deemed guilty by anyone or very importantly he shouldn’t be paid to do interviews, and if he becomes a person of interest or a suspect we haft to let police do their work and the case heard in a court of law. We must realize that falsely accusing someone of this horrific crime could easily destroy their life even if he’s totally innocent so we need to tread lightly and leave the investigative work to the detectives and other professionals working the case who I’m sure are doing everything possible to solve this case weather it involves this individual or not. I think it’s okay to speculate without directly accusing someone, and most importantly I didn’t like all of the possible subjects of interest being cleared so quickly without physically checking deeper into their alibi’s especially knowing they are key individuals who were in some or all of the victims circle as it’s important to determine if any of them has anything to be angry about, etc.

I would NEVER describe being a possible suspect of 4 murders as “almost comical “
@monicabrown94532 жыл бұрын
Thank you Or in the same sentence as these murders, “I find it hilarious” There’s NOTHING hilarious I think what he said was I find it hilarious that people think I may have done this!! That is the last way to describe ppl “thinking” you’re suspicious of such an act!
@johnpersechini49512 жыл бұрын
Because he thinks it’s absurd people who think he’s the killer. And he’s right. The weird messed up people that need help are the one accusing him with no evidence but because he acts weird or nervous on camera.

@@johnpersechini4951 I understand what he was saying, that it's so far out there that it's funny... I just think it's really inappropriate to describe it that way. He could have said absurd just like you did. I don't think he's the killer I think he's just wanting to be involved.

I recommend getting to know more of your neighbors. It helps to prevent crimes in a neighborhood when you have more associations on the street in which you live.
@TCW8382 жыл бұрын
Having done multiple criminal interviews that transition into interrogations this is my take on the neighbor: All of the "umm, like, like...can be viewed as someone trying to fill in the blanks in a story they are making up. They can also be viewed as trying to make sure he's not saying the wrong thing that will incriminate himself (assuming he did it) or simply that he is nervous being interviewed. His body language of leaning into the camera can be seen as a subconscious desire that you believe what he is saying. It also can simply be that he is nervous about the interview. The constant turning his head back over his shoulder can be seen, subconsciously, as him telling a story vs the truth and making sure that no one is coming along to call him out on it. also it can be a mechanism to avoid eye contact. His constantly evolving story and 'eye witness' account: anyone who has ever done any investigation knows eye witness accounts are horrible and are often colored by preconceived emotions, evolving subconscious desire to be helpful to authorities or to become involved, kind of a super hero complex. Does any of this make him guilty? Absolutely not. Does any of this make him with a second look? Sadly yes. I say sadly yes because if any or all of what he is saying is just an excuse to insert himself into this and grab his 15 minutes of fame, this is a massive waste of law enforcement resources.

how is he wasting police time? they would have already looked into/or are looking into the neighbours. saying 'like' could be his normal way of talking - thats why not having a baseline makes speculation on this pointless. i know ppl who use that filler in every day mundane talk.

So, how do people with autism, ADHD, anxiety, etc...perform during interrogations? I imagine being nervous coupled with a neurological disorder might land a lot of innocent people in jail!

@@moneybags999 I agree. The neighbor being on the autism spectrum with anxiety was the first thing I thought when I watched his body language.
@moneybags9992 жыл бұрын
@@SS-iw2nq That was my thinking, too! Anxiety is what came to mind & perhaps ADHD. Also, a LOT of people in his age group (& older) use fillers like "Like" with high frequency. I grew up in the 80s & teens were always ridiculed in comedy sketches for saying "Like," "You know," "I mean" way toooooo much. It's was annoying then & it is annoying now! Lol Kim K is in her 40s & talks like an 80s teenager!
@SS-iw2nq2 жыл бұрын
@@moneybags999 I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Product of the 80's too. Many from the valley said "like, dude, totally, yeah, um" fillers on a regular basis. I'm not sure if this lingo is the norm in Idaho however.

It was mentioned during this program that the neighbor was incarcerated previously. If he was, and it was a nonviolent offense, then that is very different than what was implied. I would sue if I was falsely accused. After all, he has finished his sentence, is working and hasn’t done anything more than come forward with some information he feels could be helpful.

If the crime scene was as messy as they said it was, then the true crime community needs to be extremely patient. How much evidence can be collected, analyzed, and processed in 4 weeks? Probably more than we can imagine. Patience and clarity will eventually evolve into strength and sound evidence

Of course; Another "neighbor " questioned; What's THE UPDATE CONSIST OF actually?IS THIS C L I C K B A I T produced to again make US believe it's an UPDATE on "new evidence ?" I wish the FAMILIES had more control over what types of SOCIAL MEDIA & VIDEOS are displayed about their personal tragedy. So, what "we're saying is", that there "would be no need to even make this video" if we had giving this guy a LIE DETECTOR TEST prior to producing the VIDEO.... OH, BTW WE want to advertise an AUTHOR SELLING HIS BOOK, while we're here, on the subject of police officers who were falsely accused of crimes ? AGAIN those DMV PHOTOS that keep FINING US FOR SPEEDING and whatever, could ONLY FIND ONE CAR to inspect, while FOUR PARKED cars sat for over two weeks uninspected for evidence. WHY IS THIS VIDEO EVEN BEING MADE ? Where is the "UPDATE" portion of it ?
