To be fair the apple pencil thing is awful like who is trying to do all that to draw and the keyboard thing too. The non laminated glass is fine but the price increase is not really worth it.

There is a usb-c apple pencil that works with the ipad 10.9 inch. The only reason why people won't buy it is because it won't charge when magnetically attached to the ipad 10.9. The apple pencil is good, however you can still lose the cap when charging the ipad which is what the usb-c apple pencil saves, It's also a bit cheaper @ $79 and you don't have to worry about buying an extension piece to charge it.

This the first of tons of videos I have seen where it isn't saying how bad this ipad is and how I should have bought a different one and how the usbc pen is compatible with it but that it's a horrible pen compared to the new one. This is my first ipad and I was already feeling like crap for having bought it from seeing all those videos. This one made me feel better and it let me know that this ipad is actually pretty cool. Finally! Someone highlighting the pros of this tablet! It's like every video out there is bashing this, but I think it's a true upgrade for me because I've never owned an apple pencil in my life and my current tablet (galaxy tab s6 lite) came with a stylus and the only thing I've really used it for is reading💀 I love the colours, but I think I'll get a grey, because what if I want to sell it in the future?

I was so tired of the countless reviewers trashing this because it didn’t work with the second gen pencil, the glass is not welded on and more screen reflection. Really? As an average consumer using the iPad for podcasts, KZbin and music I don’t give a s**t of the glass weld or the reflection. Highly paid reviewers pushing to pay an extra $100 are obviously not feeling the pain of inflation.

The price differences in my region between the 10 and air 5 is 300 usd including the Apple Pencil 2. I already got the gen 1 pencil so the 10 was a worthwhile buy for me.

Yeah everyone is saying there's not that much difference in the price between the air and the gen 10 but like for me it's 250$ of difference! Like I dont need a mini laptop I want a tablet not gonna pay 200 more cause it's harder to charge the pen🙄

I’ve been using my iPad 6 since high school and finally mustered up the courage to upgrade last month. Choice was between iPad 9 and iPad 10, difference of about IDR 1,5 M (~USD100) and my final choice was the iPad 10 in silver! Never regretted it, definitely a wayyyy better iPad than my iPad 6.

Just ordered this ipad with 256gb could have gotten the ipad air with M1 chip, but honestly for what im going to use it for, which is audio mixing. The a14 chip works fine too. Also the rugular games and apps are just fine with the a14 chip

If you use an automatic watch while using kit like this keyboard, be aware that these magnetic doodahs will quickly magnetise the hairspring that controls the watch's regulation. Making it run faster. And faster. And..... Many ipad cases use powerful little magnets to both switch on/off the device when the screen flap is closed/lifted, and trifold flaps also use magnets to keep them folded to give prop support. All those magnets will additively affect your mechanical watch till it'll need to be degaussed. (demagnetised) Much magnetism around these days in modern IT kit, it's best to be aware. The only solution is to remove your watch each time you use magnetic stuff, or else buy a quartz watch. (which brings the added advantage of being many times more accurate than even Rolex grade mechanicals)

You say things you can do without saying how to do them such as adding icons to the control panel. This is my first iPad and I am a beginner. I listen to KZbin on my computer and trying to do the things on my iPad sitting beside it. Everyone here seems to be so familiar with iPads that they go to fast for a beginner and I have to keep "rewinding" to actually learn something.

We got the exact same accessories! I have the lemonade Smart Folio and the yellow iPad. But I’m really upset because my brother has recently bent the top of it slightly by sitting down on it. I think this is a great iPad with many positives, but it’s hurt by the price since you can get an Air 4 for around the same price and no Apple Pencil 2 support. Other than those 2 cons, this is a great iPad for most people with a great camera, decent display, landscape camera and USB-C (FINALLY!!)

The irony is, that landscape camera actually gives the iPad 10th gen a more laptop feel. I have an 11 inch IPad Pro where some video conferencing tools don’t think it’s worth centre stage support (essentially that means that it won’t look like you are looking off into the ceiling).

About the ipad10. The rear camera sticks out from the back by quite enough to ensure that little lens will pick up scratches and scuffs unless you fit a case that introduces enough thickness around the lens to keep it from grounding each time you lay the device down. Very strange design. My slightly older Gen9 has a decent enough camera (by ipad standards) and keeps all of it flush with the device's back surface. (Still vulnerable, but much less so) Apart from that lens business I find the Gen 10 to be a pleasant item to use, with maybe that square edge to be less comfortable than the 9 if handholding it for more than several minutes. As a streaming view screen both are very good, but the 10 is brighter and capable of 4k video playback (when available) So I'm at a bit of a loss to see why the 10 seems to be getting so much flack.
