My wife was my bank teller one day, immediately I knew she was the one. 4 months later we got married and now we still are very happy, and we love God so much, 28 years later we are still seeking the lord together.

Thank you for leaving the light on. (porch pun) I love your messages and how you tackle tough issues. people go their whole lives with out knowing this truth. Sadly, even those who have attended church every sunday. I feel blessed to hear it.

Oh man the message about there being many to choose from is so wise. When you choose that is your choice though. Respect marriage. It is that simple. That hard if you let it. Time and work....love. cant replace it

+porchdallas I love watching and listening to the porch. I'm a big fan of your community and in God's word. There are so many churches out there but porchdallas is unlike any other. You have help me become a better christian. Regards to all of you, especially to Davin Marvin who I get a bit more excited if he's the one delivering the message. Keep it up guys and God bless to all of us.

Wonderful message, and wonderful insight to finding your one true love, however, I believe that God gives us the desire for what we are physically attracted to (as long as they are not perverted-worldly physical attributes). I also believe that though we have the free will to choose who we want to marry, God has a person who is destined and most likely to fit for you. He already knows our futures, therefore we already have a predestined spouse that HE knows we will end up with. Even though I believe that there is a ONE true love out there for me to marry, I will not doubt that he was "the one", if something bad were to happen to us. This is simply because I married that person.

What if I just don't have feelings? How do I look for those godly standards and become attracted because of those?

Yeah … very good statement….past performance is a good indicator of the future performance---but that person is already transformed by God ……….so i think if that person has God in his or her heart--- we will not live in the past…

Look inward. What causes me to not be attracted to the things you are attracted to (God sees the heart). Go all in with Jesus. Character traits that would make a good spouse.

intro song? asking for a friend

I was wondering also, I just watched a one sermon on the topic and have been cleaning my mind away from an addiction and to be honest that song sounded like something I just quit.. is it or is it not?
@@miguelgranillo316 lol it’s definitely creepy and the song definitely has some short of explicit connection hence why he was able to make such a creepy smile..Caught me very off guard after just cleansing my mind and phone, then bam the next video of Jonathan being the second video I’ve ever seen of his.. has that song as an intro, hit me in a weird spot. So obviously was just wondering if anyone else knows that or caught that. I’m just leaving it at that. I’m not trying to do any research. Since I literally just deleted and removed any temptation off my phone of anything of the sort.. lol creepy filipino guy was funny tho

@@miguelgranillo316 yes that always helps deleting socials, I had to do it in the past, but for what I’m dealing with now, I can manage and get to my goal without deleting socials, but same for you brother, keep up the fight!

I think it’s better to just be unsatisfied than to make a terrible mistake. If none of us get married it will hasten the inevitable collapse of society. Why prolong this misery? America is already dead.
