IDI Facet pump bracket update

Hey Mike, Thanks for taking the time to put out another helpful video. Quick off topic question; I have a 91 idi that came from the factory without ac. Thankfully, it does have the factory wiring for it though. I realize that I'll have to buy a new compressor, condenser and dryer since getting those used is risky, but what I'd like to find is the compressor mounting bracket. If you have one you'd like to sell, plz let me know. Also, if you know of any issues that I may encounter, I'd definitely appreciate a warning.. Thanks again Mike...

On my pump at the inlet side of my pump I have air bubble is this normal

Hey Mike Dan here, I'm going through the same fuel system upgrade on a '94 factory turbo. Question is did you maybe have a parts list from the tank selector valve forward? Nipples, hose sizes/lengths? Would be a huge help if ya had something kicking around like that

Hello, I'm wondering IF ANYBODY can tell me What size the Rubber Return Line is that is going off of the Engine and down to the Tank's? I'm guessing 1/4", 5/16", 3/8"???? I have to go and get a truck and the line is bad right off the Engine and down to the line going back to the tank(s). PLEASE HELP THIS OL' MAN ON THIS. THANKS in advance.

I thought it was 3/8 when I replaced it years ago but I also modified my factory system.

Rayon Spencer sounds like the injection pump head is worn out which means you will need a new pump. Pour room temp water on it when hot of it starts your pumps is shot

yeah thanks for that update dude I don't guess that my check valve has ENT failed my truck the fuel gauge is incorrect so trying to guess where I'm at with the fuel is a living nightmare it's hard to guess it off of mileage the mileage fluctuate so much in this truck I'm getting as little as 9 miles per gallon and his much as 16 miles per gallon depending on where I get fuel for some reason here in Austin Chevron seems to be the best I finally got around the pulling that fuel rail off you're right it is an excellent idea here's the problem the Machine Shop didn't machine them correctly so I'm going to contact that dude and find out what's up with that machine shop I wish they would have worked I'm working on a video for the top end of this motor I'm going to drop a post with everything that I've seen I'm going to try to do pretty quick I'm only uploaded more and I don't have anything but this janxy cell phone to work with hillbilly huh

the ford idi diesel trucks did not have in tank pumps only a block mounted lift pump which I deleted and covered with a fuel block off plate

Hello, so if i understood right, you have no return line to tank but from the injector return lines you have the hose to injection pump? And i guess injector returnhose doesnt go to filter housing either? Just bought facet 40222's

no return line from filter housing but tank return has to be hooked up
