Fill in the blank. Punny, I know. "American" gun KZbinrs promote better safety than he does too, which is kind of ironic all things considered. "American" in quotes because it's not just Americans that make those types of videos. Not to mention the guy that brought the rise to 3d printed firearms, JStark, was German. Why are firearms "American" to you? They're tools with a specific purpose. Just like any other tool, they can be misused, but will not cause harm by themselves.

Some things I learned in my 700+ shop hours 2/3 flute for soft metals plastic 4 or more for anything harder RIGIDITY! Don’t have tools sticking out more than they need. Deflection can be fixed with spring passes sometimes. Lube/coolant is cheap. Tooling is not. Speeds and feeds are your friend. If something is screaming it’s probably to fast if it’s a thud or chunking it’s too slow or maybe dull. Tooling will make or break projects. HSS is probably going to serve you well but if your feeling in need of more power a good carbide tool with serve you well. Also I’d recommend using a spot drill or something to chamfer your edges. A sharp edge is more prone to damage (and to cut you) Also remember to not wear your boots inside on your nice wood floor without pulling the chips out. Otherwise you’ll be feeling a sandal on the back of your head.

@@dimitar4y If you ever shoot a firearm loaded with .22lr you'll find the recoil is about the same as an air rifle. The explosion of one blank would not be causing any injury to your foot.
@zimbu_5 ай бұрын
Kinda hard to say how dangerous it would be. It might put a weird extra impact on your toes, foot and some of the ankle and knee ligaments, but it's hard to say if it could cause an injury or if you'd be just fine absorbing it. (Kicking is already a pretty weird movement to wrap your head around and some of this is going to depend on things like the weight of the steel block.) I wouldn't compare it to a rifle as there the recoil is controlled and absorbed by a part of your body that is exceptionally good at taking on impacts from the direction the recoil is coming from. Hold the butt an inch away from you in the air or rest it anywhere else on your upper body and firing a 7.62 will cause some discomfort.

Beat at medium speed for about five minutes. Add a little at a time of the flour that's leftover during the five minutes to keep the dough from being too sticky. STEP 4: Toss and Turn... Cover the bowl and then place in an oven that just has the oven light turned on for 45 minutes. STEP 6: Punch! Remove dough from the oven and punch. STEP 7: Be Fair! Cut the dough into four equal pieces and form into balls. STEP 8: Take Cover Pt. 2 Cover the dough again and place in the fridge for 30 minutes. STEP 9: Ingredients Pt 2 To make the sauce you will need: 1 28 oz can of dice tomatoes 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp oregano STEP 10: Forming the Pizza To form the pizza place your fingers on both hands together. Then go to the edge of the dough ball and pull toward the center the width of where the crust would end and push down slightly with your fingers. Turn the dough and repeat again and again until you have the crust all around the dough. Next, turn over the dough and using your fingers, smooth over where your indentions from the other side formed, going around to complete the full circle. Now is the fun part. You could practice this using a damp wash cloth. Take the dough into one and and then toss it into the other hand, while you are pulling at the edge of the dough to stretch it with the first hand. Now, you are going to take the dough that's in your second hand and toss it to the first hand while pulling at the edge of the dough with the second hand. Continue to do this, slightly turning your dough each time and pulling on the bottom part to stretch it out. If you tear the dough, don't worry, just pinch the hole closed when you have it laid out on the pan. The more practice you do, the easier it will be and you won't tear the dough. Alternatively, after forming the crust you could just use both hands to stretch the dough out while it's laying on the surface, just stretch the dough, spin a little, stretch, spin, stretch, etc, until you have stretched it all over. STEP 11: Bake! Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 500° for 5 minutes. STEP 12: Remove and Top Remove the dough from the oven, and to with sauce and toppings. With the sauce, you want to cover evenly right up to almost touching where you formed the crust. Cover with whatever cheese and toppings you want, evenly covering the pizza. STEP 13: Bake Pt 2 Place back in the oven and back for 8 minutes, or until the crust is golden. STEP 14: Enjoy! Slice and enjoy! If you make this, let me know what you think!

Milling the bust on a 3 axis is actually impressive, unless it was editing tricks. Also some milling tips 1. Carbide is your friend for and steels. 2. Check how many flutes to use for your material. (Number of twitsts in the endmill) 3. Use abrasives (grinding) for working with HSS or tool steel 4. Purchase machinary handbook basically an engineering degree in a book. It has standard refs (thread dims, fits, math calcs and much more) metric and imperial 5.glad you finally invested in gloves for welding, I’ve gotten bad sunburns from arc flash

1:34 ... YOU ALWAYS indicate off of the fixed jaw never the moving one, the moving jaw always has some amount of slop in it even if its minimal. 6:30 the easiest way to make slots is to drill out most of the material so the endmill has to do the least amount of work, therefor less broken endmills, regardless if you are conventional or climb milling, at least the best and easiest way to safe money for a hobbyist.
@MawoDuffer5 ай бұрын
I’ll add to this. On a manual mill, you can climb mill about .005 inch safely without backlash messing things up. This is good for finishing cuts. Especially finishing milled pockets And I agree, drill out most of the slot and then make many small plunge cuts with the endmill, starting in the drilled holes, to rough the slot. Then mill the sides. And he should probably take time to indicate the whole machine into square if possible.

@@ah_dan6572 Oh yea, he started the slot and shut the camera off and continued until he finished, so what gives you the impression he didn't struggle to do it? What gives you the impression he doesn't actually need help? Just because its a fun video where everything is a joke, he still had to use the milling machine and make the part he wanted to make, and I highly doubt he actually planned to break the endmill. He basically never shows a lot of the machining, so what makes you think he doesn't want to improve using them?
