The professional driver practically running two fast moving vehicles off the road in attempt to leave the highway, barely even got a slapped wrist.

I'm sorry but that is preposterous. Grand fine and six points for being too close to a cyclist at low speed when some of those overtakes got less. Absolutely cretinous.

So the guy drifting his BMW at probably 15-20mph gets 8 points but the multiple cars that almost cause head on collisions get 5… 🤔

Yeah doesn't make sense. The BMW driver was probably pratting about but may have just over cooked it on the gravel. I did it once in a ford ranger courtesy vehicle had never driven rear wheel drive before and the back let out on me pulling out onto a damp roundabout, I drifted a quarter of the roundabout before catching it, had that been on camera people would have thought I was being dangerous on purpose!

About time anyone driving dangerously is banned and have to re take the test. And phone 9points £1000 fine.

£500 fine and a few point it's a joke the 2 girls that burned alive and conscious with mum and dad after a collision between motorcycle and a car the consequences need to be a lot heavier it should be 1yr imprisonment for a dangerous overtake with no collision and 5yrs for with collision and 8yrs for causing death or serious injury and banned from driving for life but until then the police and the have alot of blood on their hands for letting this deadly driving continue and as for Plymouth live they lied about the porsche driver who died avoiding a pot hole and lied about a road rage in plymouth so their hands a dirty indeed especially praising the police for doing sweet F A as usual

@isaacmason3939 tell that to the kid that just lost her whole family because of a dangerous overtake because the driver couldn't wait a few seconds more. Go watch a few john conner car crash videos and then tell me I'm wrong pumpkin

The penalties are not consistent, why are the fines so different, who sets the penalties

The cash fine is based on a percentage of your weekly income but the penalty points remain the same for the offence.

@@brucemorris1315 While that makes sense, don't see how someone with an old car receives a huge fine whereas someone with a new Range Rover for example receives a measly fine

@@robertleem5643 using just this video, the most expensive car is the Audi Q7/8 which also get the largest fine suggesting that the driver also earns the most money. Not everyone who has wealth displays it with the type of vehicles they drive. In the same way people value material wealth over financial, IE they have everything on lease and actually own very little but look like they earn a lot.

None of these seem like they're trying to cause a crash They're just poorly timed maneuvers and quite reckless If anything happened it would be manslaughter at most and is otherwise just a traffic offense

We in Devon have some of the very worst drivers in the UK. Total freaks. BMW drivers are the worst. Tailgaters to the max. I show tailgaters plenty of brake lights. If they go in to me then it's their fault!

Actually that would be shared blame because you both caused the incident Brake checking is just as bad as tailgating because your actively trying to make a smaller gap between you and the cars around you. If you were both caught, your only saving grace might be to say they started it

@@isaacmason3939 bottom line is, people shouldn't be tailgating. I always tap the brake to begin with and if they don't get the message then it's slam on brakes. They're a disgrace tailgating is the biggest cause of road traffic accidents in the UK.

Some of these penalties and fines are suspiciously unbalanced. Has the channel made them up? Or are the counties councils and police, completely unhinged from reality?
